Well done @SingleSue and son.  You could get to the 10% in the next week or two so good luck with that.  Have you enquired about another referral yet?  Probably best to do it sooner rather than later as these things seem to take time.  Ignore me if you've already done it!

Well done on the losses @joedenise and @SingleSue and son! You're doing so well xx
Great to hear you've been walking @ruby_eskimo - I might go for a walk after work as haven't left the house today yet!

I really enjoyed my cheese and spinach omelette at lunchtime. Work has been bonkers again today, just can't catch a break.

Does anyone here cook liver? I've just had some delivered (calfs liver) and I don't want to over cook it? Any SW friendly suggestions please?

Great to hear about losses! Well done @SingleSue, son and @joedenise. 👏👏👏

I doubt that it's the food diary that helped @joedenise but if it works don't knock it. 😁

Sorry to hear you're stressed @Jellybaby but well done for getting back on plan after breakfast. 👍

Lovely day here too, all washing dried and folded into airing cupboard. 😊

You did well to fit in some exercise @ruby_eskimo. It's good to get some daylight in as well. Lifts the mood as well as toning muscles.

I cook liver @Coxy11. I quickly blanch in boiling water for a few minutes before flash frying to crisp it. Some people use milk I believe. How long you fry depends on how rare you like it. I do onions with mine and bacon is good if you have any.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), spring onions, tomatoes, pickles (S)
    D- chicken casserole (P. F, S), vegetables (S)
    Syns - cornflour 1

@Coxy11  - DH always cooks liver when we have it (something I need to put on next month's menu plan as not had it for a long time!).  He sprays the pan and fries it quickly on each side so that it's still pink in the middle.  We usually have it with bacon and onions like @maman and also some mash.  I usually buy a whole lambs liver from the butcher and freeze it in portions once DH has sliced it fairly thinly.

You're actually lucky to be able to get calves liver as not many places sell it although suspect if I asked my butcher he'd get it for me.  It's the mildest tasting liver; followed by lamb, the pigs and ox is the strongest.  Can't say I'm keen on ox liver but if I do get it then that would be soaked in milk before cooking and would be done in the oven as a casserole with plenty of onions!  Was it very expensive as calves liver certainly used to be.

Thanks for doing that @bubbs. I'm sure there is little difference (other than the obvious price!) between them. Doesn't look like Sainsburys are price matching turkeys with Aldi. I'll take a look on Friday. I was in the local shopping centre today but, didn't take the car and didn't want to walk home carrying a turkey! 🤣
