3.5lbs loss and my 1 stone award (total is 1stone and half a pound).

Middle son got slimmer of the week and the month last week, he lost 1.5lbs this week.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Well done @SingleSue on your 3.5lb loss.  Your middle son is doing well too with 1.5lb this week and brilliant that he got SOTW and SOTM.

That's a great loss @SingleSue, especially coming on the back of your holiday. And well done on your 1 stone award too! 👏👏👏

I'm feeling better than expected after my two jabs yesterday. It's a bit like a first one with a headache and tiredness. I'm just taking it easy.

Glad you enjoyed the film @Coxy11. Sounds like you're doing the whole house. I'm amazed you've got it energy after last week's walking.

I wasn't really aware of the psychological relationship with food and weightloss until I joined SW and met people who really struggled. I've been slim all my life until a who raft of bad habits came together (more sedentary job, lunches grabbed from petrol stations and worst of all rewarding myself with wine) and I gradually gained 3 stone+ over about 10 years. Because I'm tall and got used to hiding it behind black clothes I ignored it until a size 16 was getting tight. I chose SW as my first and only 'diet' as it seemed like an easy formula to follow and the closest to normal eating.

I think I'm probably somewhere around the top of target range too @joedenise. Clothes fit and I feel slim enough but I can't believe I'll have lost or even STS with all the eating out in recent weeks. I'll find out tomorrow. 🤞

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, bacon, egg (P), baked beans (F)
    L- LO cottage pie and vegetables (P, S, F)
    D- SW Bolognese (P, S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0

@maman glad you are ok after the jabs, my MIL had both yesterday and her only complaint has been she told the Dr she wanted both in same arm when he said no -she told him it would be his fault if she couldn't sleep....quite a character.

@SingleSue fantastic weight loss and your son too - all the best with your weight loss journey.

I am still wondering if I should venture to Sains as rain has stopped and sun out.

B  Porridge pear blues and ff yog
L   Omel bacon and cheese and sliced tom
D   Jacket Pot prawns green beans and h m sauce

Syn 3 skinny bar 2syns  low fat mayo

HEB Porridge  HEA Milk LF L cow

Well done @joedenise for reining things in and whoohoo to @SingleSue and son for the losses and awards. I have never had SOW let alone SOM!

I've put together a goodie box for DD - jelly sweets, lip balm, hair mask, sour cream and chive pretzels (the cocaine of savoury snacks...) plus some fluffy socks. I have bought postage on Evr! as can drop this off at the local Lond!s later. It's the small things....

We are decorating almost the entire house @maman. The plan is that we move in 2-3 years time and won't have to do too much at that point (possibly just the kitchen, fingers crossed).

    Morning all,

I'm home alone for a few days as DH has gone camping in Cornwall with his mates. He left at 4am, I did stir but managed to fall back to sleep! All woodwork in our bedroom is now painted so I'll go out at lunchtime and get the wall paint mixed at our local DIY store. Apparently there's a mixing machine in our little DIY shop in the high street - we shall see! If I can get the paint, I will paint the walls tonight and do a second coat at the weekend.

In food news I am now able to eat whatever, whenever, as DH is away. Could be dangerous!

    Food today:
    B - melon, grapes, pineapple - some S
L - crab sticks, lettuce, pickles, laughing cow triangles x 2, 2 Ryvita rye cakes - free, S, HEA, 1/2 HEB
D - A!di plant menu sausages, bacon, plum tomatoes, baked beans - all free
    HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day all

Morning all, weather a bit brighter this morning so going to get the bedding washed.  Think it's getting cold enough to put on the brushed cotton sheets and duvet cover to help keep us a bit warmer (well me anyway, DH doesn't seem to feel the cold!).

Enjoy the few days on your own @Coxy11.  Is DH hoping you'll finish the bedroom while he's away?!

    Today's plan:

    B - baked oats; fruit - HEB; P; S; F
    L - warm goats cheese salad - P; S; F; HEA2; 3
D - chilli, rice - P; S; F; 0.5 (from freezer so not sure what the 0.5 syn is for but that's what the label says!)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - goats cheese
    HEB - porridge
Syns - half whole meal roll 3; cornflour? 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  Well done on the losses @SingleSue and your son!  Enjoy your alone time @Coxy11 and hope you don't work too hard on the house!

Didn't get a lot of sleep last night as DH wasn't very well when he got home from work yesterday so I was worrying about him.  He's ok today apparently so I'm going to treat him to a trip to the seaside this evening for a change of scenery and some fish and chips on the beach as the weather is supposed to be reasonable (or we can just sit in the car 😆 watching the rain)

So an off plan dinner but hey ho.  Breakfast was blueberries and yogurt, lunch is the last of my avocado on toast with a poached egg and then fish and chips for dinner.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all, been a bit sporadic on here lately due to work but project ends on Friday so hoping to get  back to daily posting.

Met a friend for lunch yesterday at a fairly cheap pub grub place and ended up slightly off plan as there wasn't as much choice as I'd thought there would be.

    Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, mango and nectarines
L - lentil soup, ham salad roll (HEXB)
D - chilli with rice and side salad
Syns - none planned so far but will keep low to help cover yesterday

    Have a good day everyone!
