We didn't go to the pub I thought we were going to but went to another in the same chain. Unfortunately the chef is nowhere near as good as the one we've been to before so didn't actually eat everything like I usually do!
What I did eat was definitely syn free so I'm glad about that. I had chicken breast skewers, salad with no dressing and corn on the cob. The only syns I had were for a small G&T - 3 syns.
At least not too much damage synwise! Hopefully a loss this week!0 -
Hi folks, been in bed since Saturday night with a heavy cold. With my brother and family here from abroad I’ve tested every day and thankfully not covid but truth is this was worse than when I did have it! Completely flattened me. On leave this week but looks like Thursday will be the earliest I’ll be fit enough to go out.
I gained 1.5 lbs on Saturday morning but think this week might sort that as I’ve only had water and tea the last few days. Not too bothered as I think my priorities are shifting - see what happens when you can’t do anything but lie and think 😂
Think I’ve caught up with all the news. Fab loss @beanielou and happy birthday when it comes!Have GP appt on Thursday for ‘women’s things’ as my DS2 says which might prove interesting as that thinking time has come in to play again 🙈0 -
Sorry to hear you've been unwell @Jellybaby. Hopefully you'll soon feel better and able to enjoy time with your visitors.😊

Shame your food wasn't up to standard @joedenise but at least you didn't waste syns on it.

Evening all,
We’ve only just finished painting as DS1 dropped pup off and wanted to talk
about career options! I do worry about his MH as he tends to overthink things so couldn’t really carry on painting IYSWIM?!
The SW sausage, courgette and pea risotto was lush. Will give DD a portion to take to uni house tomorrow. She’s going back until month end, here for most of September then a new cheaper house for the new term.Sorry to hear you’re poorly Jelly. Get well soon xx
