    Oh no @bubbs

I lost 1lb this week. Pleased with that given I had the outdoor gig (chicken fillets, chips and donuts), Fathers day at outlaws house, plus Cadbury$ yesterday (although lady I sat next to said that will probably show later ooops).

I walked to group and back via Sains - Mullerlight on offer for 40p if anyone interested. I then sanded down the skirting and picture rail in the spare room. Walked to hairdresser and back, then sugar soaped the wood. Painted it all and gave the walls a first coat. I'm really pleased with the paint - it's from Wilk0 and goes on really lovely - one to remember. Now all washed up and having a break before cooking dinner.

I'm going to the tip tomorrow for 9am, but hope to do another coat on the wood when I'm back, then off to Brighton to see DD. It's all go.

@joedenise I'm impressed that you've managed to get back on it given all the stress you've had this week. Any news on the van (might have missed that) and will the food in the van be spoilt or is it saveable?

@Coxy11 - now been told it will be 3-4 weeks before the van can be repatriated!  It will then be assessed to decide what is going to happen so still no idea when or if we'll get it repaired or whether it will be written off because it is too expensive to repair.

Unfortunately we had to dump most of the food we had in as needed to turn off fridge but it certainly wouldn't have lasted that long.  We checked everything which didn't need refridgeration for BB dates and there's nothing that won't last until at least end July.  A lot of it will last much longer than that as it's tins!

So sorry you've had another gain @bubbs.  It must be so frustrating;  have you cut back on your syns again?  You seemed to lose when you were having more syns.

Done a bulk shop in Lidl's this afternoon on the way over to DD1s.  Spent well over £50 but that was mainly on big packs of meat, some beers for DH and DD1 asked us to pick her up some cans of passion fruit martini (sounds disgusting!) so at least a big to come back from her for that.

Morning all, no idea what the forecast is for today but at the moment it's bright but very breezy.  We had an absolutely downpour about 9 o'clock last night so at least we shouldn't need to water the garden tonight, unless it gets really hot.  Planted some more lettuce yesterday and DH planted some basil and fennel seeds - I've never had success with fennel so will see if it's better planting later than I usually do.

I'm going to use my ice cream machine on the yoghurt function today to see if I can make some yoghurt as we seem to be getting through loads with the raspberries from the garden plus the big box of strawberries we bought.

@Jellybaby and @Coxy11 - have to admit I've always been pretty good when I come back from holiday about getting back on plan and I'm fortunate enough not to overeat when I'm stressed - I tend to drink too much which is why the 0% gin is so useful to me, although I did have the real thing last night so used the full 15 syns yesterday!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with both sausage and bacon - P; S; F
    L - pasta and veg topped with cheese - HEA2; S; F
    D - roast beef dinner with roasted veg plus green veg - P; S; F; 2

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - none planned
Syns - flour for yorkies 4.5

Will need to pop to Morrisons this afternoon as managed to get a couple of Magic Bags from Too Good To Go - hoping there might be some fruit and veg in them and not loads of bread products!  Any bread DH will end up eating as I just don't do white bread when I'm at home.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Afternoon all, still lurking 🥴
Have STS last 3 weeks which is better than gaining but still 😤
Its a hectic time of year, got two residentials coming up beginning of July plus Harry Potter studios on Thursday! It will be a very long day with rubbish food but plenty of walking.
Bubbs, re pharmacy issues, with you on that!! Hubby has to fight the Drs surgery for every new med the kidney centre prescribe him then it’s lucky dip if pharmacy has it 😤.
Still long wait to see Drs, nightmare. Financially difficulties too as no longer getting paid by his company but turned down for PIP and Universal Credit. So many people leaving my school so the expectation to pay into leaving gifts and end of year ‘do’ is bringing me down.
Anyway suns shining so smile 🤗
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
