  • Hi all,

Rubbish at checking in regularly but well done on all the losses!

WI Monday, and DD and I both lost 2lbs, I hit my interim target and wanting a new front number next time. Only 1 WI before the big 4 0 so trying to be super good and hoping the birthday weekend isn't too damaging not that I have any idea what we are doing yet.

The walking is getting far easier, I was out with a youth group earlier and managed a bit of running having not ran for ages I was really pleased with my efforts. Came home and went for another 3 mile walk, little bit tired and achy now. Looking forward to getting back into Parkrun but may have to move locations due to my DD changing jobs which is a shame as our local one is super friendly.

Morning all, just glad yesterday is over!  There is still loads of stuff left in the motorhome including all the dirty washing - really glad I'd done some washing a couple of days earlier so at least we had some clean clothes to bring home with us as not much left indoors, apart from stuff that generally just stays in wardrobes and drawers (so stuff we don't generally wear and ought to go to the CS or be dumped!).

The breakdown company will be arranging to get the motorhome repatriated and to a garage for repair - problem is the local places to us can't or won't do the work so they are trying to find a garage which isn't too far from us for repair.  No idea how much the damage will cost to fix but if it's too much then it may end up that it's cheaper for the insurance company to write it off and leave us with no vehicle - this of course means we'll end up with no motorhome and not enough money to replace it so not a good outcome so we just have to sit it out and wait.

Well done @annabanana82 on your weight loss and to your DD.  Good luck with the new front number next week.

@bubbs - I bet your dad enjoyed the cream cake but really hope it doesn't cause him (and your mum!) any problems.

Had a full day on plan yesterday and ended the day on 12.5 syns.  Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette with tomatoes on the side - HEA2; P; S
    L - sweet chilli noodles with salad bits - S; F; 3
D - pulled pork in BBQ sauce in WM roll, chips, corn on the cob; HM coleslaw - HEB; P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - WM roll
Syns - sweet chilli sauce 3

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all, grey start here and a few spots of rain this morning, still warm though.

Hope the motorhome can be repaired @joedenise.
Well done on the losses @annabanana82 and DD.

I really enjoyed the film last night. Very poignant (narrated by GM) and loved the music. Would recommend if you're even a tiny bit of a fan. Finger is almost back to normal, colour is better and no heat. Numbness has also gone. Have a bite on my arm now though which is itchy! Went for a 3k run this morning and was 45 seconds faster than Tuesday - every little helps!

Cinema again tonight - Lightyear - should be fun.

    Food today:
B - pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, blueberry puffed wheat, mullerlight yog - S, HEB, 0.5
    L - tuna, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles, balsamic vinegar - P, S
D - grilled gammon steak, sw chips, baked beans, egg - P
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel light
    Syns - hi fi bar 3 plus 0.5 = 3.5

    Have a good day all,
    Coxy

Morning all.  Glad you managed to make it back safe even if it was a nightmare journey @joedenise.  Hope they can get it fixed for you 🤞 Well done on the losses @annabanana82 and your daughter.  Might have to look for that repellant band @bubbs, I'll try anything at this rate!

Managed a couple KM walk yesterday but thought I was going to pull a muscle after about a 100 steps 😆  Not in the office today due to the rail strikes so didn't have to get up ridiculously early for once.  Had yogurt and blueberries for breakfast, lunch is a greek salad with chicken again and then dinner tonight is a stir fry.

Hope you all have a good day.

I went to Aldi this morning as wanted to try and get some of their Slimwell chips but as usually they didn't have any but what I did find was their take on Linda McCartney Rosemary and Red Onion sausages @ £1.49 - much cheaper than the real thing.  No idea if their any good but certainly worth trying!

Also picked up a bag of the Black Forest fruits and have used some of them for overnight oats so hopefully they'll be OK.  Was surprised at how many cherries there were in the pack - I usually have to buy frozen cherries separately as DH likes them in the overnight oats.

Only bought frozen stuff in there today but think I'll have to have a better look when I can go without DH!  Needed to go to Tesco and Morries for tonics and ginger beers respectively as completely run out!  Most of what we had is still in the motorhome.  Even had to pick up some 0% gin as my bottle is also in the motorhome!  If anyone's interested Tesco have it at £12 a bottle instead of £14 on Clubcard price.

Your tea looks nice @bubbs.  What's on the potatoes?
