Morning!  Another night of little sleep so sitting here shattered and have a full day of work ahead  :(

Out for lunch today and it's a new tapas restaurant we're trying.  Will try and work out syns later but really looking forward to it as I've not seen my friend 'in person' for a while.

    Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, strawberries, nectarines, raspberries
    L - out
D - leftover chicken, huge salad (minimal syns if I have some dressing)

    Have a good day all.

Now fully caught up as viewing thread on phone makes my eyes screwy!

Hope the motorhome can be fixed @joedenise fingers crossed

Well done on your loss @bubbs. That's terrible that a visitor should make such remarks. We have a lady who brings her two children to group. The boy is particularly hyper and she is constantly telling him to behave. They've just moved in with her parents due to a relationship breakup, so she's dealing with a lot plus working full time. We have been trying to suggest ways of keeping on plan - batch cooking, packed lunch ideas etc. which she is grateful for. That's the point of group - support and ideas to keep you going, not criticising someone if they are struggling!

And OMG to a member of ST having to cover groups! Our stand in consultant is now off for 2 weeks so lord know who we will get!

    Enjoy the tapas @Jellybaby x

I have 3 weeks to my holiday @ruby_eskimo so now back on it after 2 weeks of indulgence!

Lunch was fab and I love tapas but oh dear I could have eaten three times the amount of food we ordered   On the plus side I won't fall asleep this afternoon! I did have a few (huge homemade) chips and there was oil over grilled veggies but other than that not too bad.  Would definitely go back.

    Morning all,

I cooked a bolognaise bake last night and used up half a red pepper, some mushrooms, carrot plus usual passata, onion and garlic. It was nice and have 2 portions frozen for taking into the office over the coming weeks yay!

I went for a walk after dinner last night. I've found I rarely leave the house when I WFH unless I need to nip to Ts or have the cinema booked (5 min/10 min walk respectively). I did a 3km route that I used to run. Didn't take headphones, just walked and breathed and said Hi to those I met along the way (which was mainly dog walkers and older folk). Made the decision that I need to get back to early morning running. Lost my mojo after our failed JoGLE attempt and have only been a couple of times since August (according to my app). Ended up going to bed at 9.30pm as was so tired but hurrah - got up at 6am and ran just shy of 3km. Will go again on Thursday and hopefully make it a more regular habit.

Have to drop DS2 at school for 1.45pm for his last Maths A level exam. One more to go...

    Food today:
    B - Blueberry puffed wheat, mullerlight yoghurt, blueberries - HEB, 0.5, S
L - pineapple, strawberries, poached egg, grilled bacon, LM red onion and rosemary sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms - P, S
    D - SW chicken, potato and kale bake - P, S
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel light
    Syns - 0.5 plus hi fi bar 3 = 3.5 total

    Have a good day all,
    Coxy

    Afternoon everyone,

Bah just typed a message and it dissappeared.   Anyway was saying that if I WFH (which is most of the time) I tend not to leave the house either @Coxy11 and really need to make more of an effort to get out for walks more.

    Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, nectarines, strawberries and mango (this was lush! got nectarines in M & S - £1 for 6 large ones)
L - tuna salad, 2 syns for salad cream
D - salt and pepper chicken with rice and extra roasted peppers, mushrooms and tomato on the side (DS cooking and using a packet mix up, 2 syns for my share)

    Have a good day!

Dinner was not a success! Not what we expected at all but that’s the packet used up and we ate most of it 🙈 so not to waste anything and thank goodness for the extra veg!  Might need tea and toast later 🤣
