    Evening all :smiley:

    Thanks everyone, shopping was spot on, we did more and was back earlier than last week. Lidl 1st, then Mum had appointment at council tax offices at 11, we got there 10.50 she was in and out, off to pharmacy, there was queue outside of 4 and 3 in there, thought here we go 🤣 moved wuick went in said collecting prescription, name , address and comes back in 2 mins with full bag, HOOOOORAHHH!!!! then Post office and Halifax, then morrisons and f/foods back home for 1.30!!
    Then sorted what medication dad has so i can order online, 19 prescriptions and that is just tablets no stoma stuff that comes monthly!

    Double burger chips and salad, hexb and half hexa and 2 syns bbq sauce

    I got a £1.50 lidl box today, first time ever, 12large vine toms, 2 iceberg, 2 bunches spring onions, 3 spanish onions, the very large punnet of mushrooms and 6 banana's! Bargain!!

    Your burgers look lush Bubbs. Mine were dry and really tasteless but that’s them all used up now so will be on the look out for something tastier.

    I have three Lidls between me and where my parents stay but have never managed to get a box. That was a good haul.  Your shopping trip almost echoes mine, minus the CT office 😁. Mum’s birthday on Sunday so will also have to try and escape to buy a card and present!

    I found when i just did beef they were dry, so i do pork and beef, seasonings and a dash or Worcester sauce, i also cooked them in the oven on the grill rack/pan while i was cooking dh's chicken burgers .

    I have never seen them boxes before , turned round at the till and said to mum is that one of the £1.50 boxes, Yes says mum, i said i am having that 😂
