Morning all, the temp is decent here but very dull and windy and I want sunshine.
I got strawberries from Farmfoods on Saturday @bubbs and they were lovely, big and juicy and was amazed they were only 99p. Will look out this weekend for the raspberries.
Meeting a work friend for lunch today at a pub grub place I've not been to before and can't find their menu online.
So today's plan:
B: f/f Greek yoghurt, strawberries, mango
L: out for lunchchicken fajitas with loads of veg, salsa, cheese HEXA2 (whether I have a wrap or not depends on what I have for lunch)
Have a good day all!0 -
Morning all,
Wish there was a FF near me - nearest is 15 miles away and I can't justify the journey.
Had to get DS2 to his final Physics A level today for 8.45am which meant leaving at 7.45am to beat the traffic. I haven't done a school run in years as all three of mine went out of area for senior school and we paid for a private bus. I got home dead on 9am and have only just had breakfast, so I think this is why I have a headache!
Food today:
B - poached egg, 1 slice WM toast, strawbs, blueberries, grapes - P, 1/2 HEB, S
L - chicken n mushroom pasta n sauce, lettuce leaves, tomatoes, pickles - 0.5, S
D - fish pie, carrots, green beans, butternut squash, pineapple - P, S
HEA - milk
HEA - mini babybel light
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
Syns - 0.5
Have a good day all,

Photos lovely as always @bubbs Hope your shopping trip with M&D goes well today and the pharmacy behaves!
I went to the cinema again last night to see the new Emma Thompson film. Couple right next to me scoffing a family bag of dorritos! Film was good - some laugh out loud moments and some deep meaningful discussions about life and family. Would recommend to those of us women over 40!
WFH today and meeting a couple of friends for a coffee at lunchtime. Can't justify lunch, both in terms of cost and waistline, so will leave them to it!
Food today:
B - Blueberry puffed wheats, milk, banana, pineapple, strawberries, blackberries, grapes - HEB, HEA, S
L - Ham, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles - P, S
D - pork loin chops, sweet potato wedges, carrots, green beans - P, S

Morning all! Hope your son's exam went well @Coxy11 and good luck with the prescriptions @bubbs
Had a hot day in the office yesterday, reached 31 degrees at 1pm 🥵 and my teeth are playing up again and had to take a massive detour to get home (took 2.5 hours) so treated myself to a mcflurry for my dinner when I got home 😆 Prepared for the heat today with lots of iced water ready to go, mini fans and a cooling towel. Had some boiled eggs with mushrooms for breakfast and lunch is going to be the last of my salad bowls for the week. Dinner is Mexican feast as requested by DH - so at least I can just chuck it in the oven and walk away!

Morning! It's absolutely tipping down here. I am so jealous of all this heat and sunshine everyone is having - think we need to go on a road trip @beanielou!! Anyone fancy a couple of visitors
Thank goodness it's Friday, what a week. I have the joy of shopping with the parents tomorrow @bubbs. I usually need a large glass of wine and a lie down after it.
Fridge is looking decidedly bare again but happy that we're using everything up and no wastage.
Today's food:
B - 45g bran flakes (HEXB), f/f Greek yoghurt, banana
L - tuna salad, pickles, 2 syns for salad cream
D - SW burgers (found these lurking at the back of the freezer), wedges, onions and mushrooms
Have a good day all
