It really is a small world, I take my daughter to the station in Barnham every day !! Might even have passed you without knowing. We could always arrange a meet for a drink one day, Amie is close and I think Jamiedodger, also mioliere is not too far away, we could have a mini meet  , glad you had a good day, at harrods, we went a few weeks ago on a saturday, but it was so packed, we soon came away again.
Off for a glass of vino, have good evenings all xx0 -

Lost for a week or two, and then you will get used to it, look forward to him coming home, and then be glad when he is going back!

Evening All
Well best laid plans again today. Gas man couldnt fit the new part so has rebooked for 20th, and just as we were about to leave for our meeting we received a phonecall - the person who we were sposed to meet car had broken down so meeting was cancelled.
Was all set to go out so popped to Paul Simon to look at some curtains for our front room - nothing I liked so came home and popped into local golf club on the way home for a snack.
Then was very naughty and spent the afternoon on the sofa watching The Holiday on sky anytime.
Popped round to see nephew and had a few nibbles round there so noone fancied dinner, DD has gone for a sleepover and the house is very peaceful. So tomorrow need to get up reasonably early and sort the washing and ironing.
Oh is insisting on watching a strong man programme so think will head off to bed shortly.
Cant remember who mentioned the post but ours here is driving us mad, it comes about 2pm and Im sure im missing at least a days worth as a cheque sent to me hasnt been received - as its Xmas post time they wont cancel it at the mom, just want me to wait a couple more days to see if it comes thro. Grrr - think Im missing some bills as well.
Best be off now. Enjoy the rest of your evenings.
Forgot to say Ageandjo - I love Harrods. DD goes hospital nearby every now and then. They toy department is lovely and the toys are the same price as the high street - adore their rocking horses. Like eating in there too but as with DD we often have burger - served on a plate with knives and forks!0 -
Pipkin - Whereabouts are you? if you are near Cornwall, you can borrow my cat - he will soon sort your mouse problem out

Well, I've had a rubbish day. Have just felt really miserable all day, then came home and OH picked a fight so I cried and he stormed out. I rang and asked him to come home, he said he will be an hour.
He did sort his window out but the stupid idiots at Autoglass just smashed the remainder of the window into the back of his car
. Is this normal practice????? Think he is going back tomorrow and making them hoover all the shards of glass out of the seats
Oh, and I have been told that there is no work for me next week. And OH finishes on Tuesday until Jan. Great, that'll get the bills paid!
PenPen - Sorry about your job, I think the CAB do sterling work. If I was a millionaire, I would pay your grant. We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

DLB - everytime I read yr posts we are doing the same thing!!!! The Ice-cream van at school saga, the nativity grab a seat at the front! and now the tv mark offs!! we seem to have similar lives!!!0 -
Oh ((hugs)) Blairweech - Haven't you found out yet, that the male of the species treat their cars like one of the children - or their child if they don't have any. When anything is wrong with their cars they are not fit to know. My reaction is the shout back, starting with, who do you think you are either shouting at or talking to that way. The other thing is they don't like tears as they don't know how to handle them.

Sadly, the West Midlands is probably a bit far for your master mouse catcher Blairweech, but thanks for the offer. If you're still feeling generous, I've always fancied a holiday in Cornwall:DBlairweech wrote: »Well, I've had a rubbish day. Sorry to hear you've had a rubbish day. Hope you sort things out with your OH
Best wishes
