A simple solution would be for the DVLA to turn off its automated electronic link that gives PPCs access to RK data, instead replacing it with a human based system where the PPC ( or anyone else) amongst other things  has to give evidence, including details of the landowner where the parking event took place, evidence form the landowner confirming this vehicle shouldn't be there , and proof that the landowner is the landowner, chances of this happening without a court runling that the DVLA is breaching data protection/GDPR is slim

Another option is to go for whatever entity hired the PPC, or allows it to operate on their land, or instructs it to operate in a specific location
Logistics of this could be hard but they can of course couple it with an algorithm to verify it for them based on submitted evidence - at least landowner details can simply be crosschecked with HM Land Registry automatically. For specific cases they should have caseworkers to pressure the PPC and deter them, in fact this will make PPCs do thorough due diligence before obtaining the private data.

"They're just ignoring the evidence to grind people down and snatch their money, they know it isn't feasible to seek legal advice and go through all the bureaucracy for a £60-100 ticket!"

I still think that this is a self ticketer who is sending the images to the PPC.

They do try to grind people down. It's a process to try to get you to pay up.

Do self ticketers have a machine to print the ticket, how does it work lol. Because its a legit ticket, or do they have like a stamp or something.

Amazing signature, I'm trying to not let them grind me down... however this process is so long and stressful!

They sign up with the parking company, download an app, snap your car on their iPhone, upload the image to the PPC via the app, receive a £10 bonus in the post!

Have you told us who the parking company is?  A skim read through the thread doesn't seem to reveal it.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

@Coupon-mad Hey, just a quick question. I just read that Park Direct UK Ltd. are members of both the BPA and IPC, which do I go to after a rejection from the PPC?

A self-ticketer is unlikely to be given one of those machines.

It's explained in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, but you're dealing with the ATA whose logo is placed inside a roundel.

@Umkomaas Ah sorry just realised BPA have two lists, Park direct isn't actually in the AOS. So it is in fact IPC. So it is actually Park direct issuing the ticket and not a resident.
