well was 11 stone 9.5lbs on 3rd May Now 11 stone 11.5lbs I think I am going to have to do some gardening or housework. I bought some walnuts as a treat. Did nt realize they are so calorific. Also had a packet of crisps and a banana. and cheeselets I have been looking at my mainly veg diet and think i am going to have to add more protein and carbs. I cannot eat wheat bran barley pasta as does nt agree with me. Also we are getting a large backlog of cheese Which i have now frozen. I am going to eat more eggs and potatoes and rice.
next month i have got by yearly medication review and no doubt they will want to up my levo from 50g (under active thyroid) which i am not keen on doing.

Sts for me this week, I really need to knuckle down, still trying to adjust to new routine with work and the kids. Got a bloke coming round this morning to look at removing some rubbish from my garden so will need to get out there and move it all in one spot so bit of exercise at least! Not sure if I can lift some of it but I have no one to help so will try my best. Will be so glad when it's gone.
Chilli in the slow cooker for dinner, not sure about lunch as I have to meet dd to get her dress adjusted so will be somewhere out.'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.
Had a very nice holiday, broke another tooth while away... again
Battery on scales had died when I got back, ordered more and spent about 2 days trying to get them to work... Mr Pepper then pointed out to me they have a sticker on the back to peel off, felt a right plonker.
Happy to report only a half pound gain please @Brambling . Hope you are feeling better, I agree with health problems being passed down, I got the bad knee's and spine problems passed on.
Very happy with this small gain, we do not eat out very much, the apartment we rent has a very big balcony with a view and lot's of sunshine so we tend to buy a bag of salad and chuck chicken and veg in the oven to roast. Toast and OJ in the morning was cut to a minimum (didn't stop my IBS) but I did have my ice cream a day. The only negative when going out is that you cannot get zero cal mixers other than coke (which I cannot drink), but the positive is that I can have chips if I want when eating out as husband tends to hoover up my food as well as his.
Dinner to night is roast chicken, Jersey Royals and salad.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Godmorning all I am back after a bit of a chocking gain loosing the grip a bit over portion size for the last month or so. I feel it has been a bit of a blur and I have given up a lot of my good habits both in terms of destressing and in terms of mental wellbeing. This thread seems to be part of the good habits.
Main sinner I think is relentless snacking, a lot of sitting at work, and at home and good old carbs.
Well from today I shall start a food diary and getting back to weighing in every day for a while untill I get this sorted.
I hope to join some of the top loosers for this month with a string of smilies for the rest of the quarter.
