Thank you apple for this month's thread
I am thankful for sunshine meaning 3 loads of washing have been done and line dried today, for Str3ps1ls (sore throat which is not improving as the day goes on), for finding more books to read in the library, for finally dropping a bag of items off at the CS.

Evening Turtles. Another lovely day here if a tad chilly, got some washing dry on the line though.
Just a small spend on a cup of tea on the seafront whilst watching the ferries going in and out. Would have spent more but couldn’t find an ice cream van anywhere!
Bought a new rotary washing line last year but couldn’t get any postcrete anywhere. It’s now back in stock so after my washing was dry, took the old one out ready. Unfortunately DD and I had used a massive amount of postcrete putting the old one in and no one could get it out. So will have to dig a new hole next to the old one.
Today I am grateful for a sunny walk, laughing at naughty kitten seeing our fox through the back gate and rushing in with dinosaur fur and a yummy pizza for tea (sorry diet)
Thank you for April apple and see you all in May.6 -

Thank you for April, @apple_muncher. Finished on NSD#13, so I'm disappointed.
Went for a walk with DH after breakfast, it was longer than I'd intended, so too tired to go & potter in the garden immediately, then it started to rain 😓 someone came to collect items sold on local page, then I replaced 2 coat zips. After washing the dishes, I decluttered more programmes off the box & knitted more squares using wool oddments, to make a jumper for gardening in.
Grateful for being able to support my friend after losing her dad this morning, getting sewing done today's, as the weather is supposed to be better tomorrow, so can be outside, good programmes.
See you all in May, remember that it's good luck to go outside in your nightie & wash your face in the morning dew on 1st May 😉Use it up, wear it out

Took my mum and met my sister, niece and toddler great-nephew at carboot this morning. He was loving all the space in the field to run around in. The weather was fantastic so we stayed chatting for a bit as we hadn't seen each other for a few weeks.
Wanted some beads to make up necklaces for charity shoebox appeal. They'd provided some but they were all shades of blue and I wanted some bright colours to pad them out with. Not many old necklaces at the carboot but got 6 for 20p each.
Mum has got another really bad cough and cold. Doesn't feel ill but aches from coughing so much. Think she will have to ring the doctor on Monday as they threatened her with an x-ray if she got it again.
DS and DIL called over to see us. We've been out the last few times they've dropped in so it was lovely to sit in the sun and chat. We had loads of old flowerpots to get rid of and they wanted them so everyone happy. Apparently so many seeds they planted have come up. DS also brought his mower and mowed the lawn. (Our mower blew up about 2 weeks before winter and we haven't replaced it yet). It also meant they could collect their Easter eggs from us!
Squirrel running along roof ridge tiles this morning. I like to see them but worried he might get in and chew the plastic pipes/wires like the last one.
Tried to do the 1% quiz show on tv tonight. Knocked out at 45% so obviously need to practise more!
I finish the month on 3NSD. Rather overspent this month but can't see much for it.
Gratitudes: A beautiful sunny day, seeing most of the family, finding a home for the plant pots. X
