Transferring from my Chasing savings into my Chase current account wasn't instant.
That's odd - I don't do this that often but when I do, it's always been instant for me.

As an example - I went to pay for my supermarket shopping with my Chase card the other day and remembered I didn't have quite enough money in the current account (I keep the bulk of it in the savings account for the interest), so I transferred some from one account to the other in the app while I was stood at the till. The money transferred instantly and I was able to pay for the shopping using the card a matter of seconds later.

It's not uncommon, I've had to wait up to 90mins previously

I've transferred at the till many times, but don't bank on it working every single time.

I never had to wait quite that long but it‘s certainly not been instant on numerous occasions. Even when it‘s “instant”, there’s a noticeable delay of several seconds after I have had confirmation of the transfer.

    I'd say 98% instant, 1% up to 20 mins and 1% longer.

Have you posted this to the correct thread? If so, what do you want to tell us about this phone and Chase? That it can run the app? If so, there's a dedicated thread here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6349221/phones-that-are-compatible-with-the-chase-app

Then you might consider editing your post to ask that question. On the off-chance someone happens to have that phone and is a Chase customer, you are far more likely to receive an answer to a post that isn't easily misinterpreted. You may also inadvertently mislead others who might think you are saying that phone IS compatible.
Have you considered a 2nd hand iPhone? It's far easier to confirm which of these is compatible. That said, buying a new phone just for Chase is probably a false economy and becoming moreso as interest rates rise and credit card offers look more and more enticing.

I thank you for your suggestion. Me and apple dont get on. Im old skool aging kid. Im from pc master clan. I just think apples products are over hyped and over price. Their functuality is on par to equivalent, thus yoy paying a premium to be in there fan club
