    Just spent £1000 in an Audi garage for a car order. Don’t seem to have the 1% for this transaction.

    Somewhere in the 55 pages back there is a note which says no you cannot do this
    1 copy of the app only.

    No, app can only be activated on one device at a time.

    Or, technically yes, but you would need to activate the new device (via SMS) each swap
  • So what happens if the phone is lost or stolen or more likely damaged and out of action for a while? How can you access your account to move/withdraw  money?

    You would need to register a replacement device. It would be advisable to have an alternative source of funds for the few days you might need to address any device issues.

    Not wishing to sound stupid but, if I needed to replace my phone how exactly would I reregister?

    Obviously, I would have to install the Chase app but what then, would you not have conflict having already being registered on your old phone? Sorry can’t get my head round it.

    Can I say currently I am very happy with my Chase account, just a little worried if the ‘dodo’ hit the fan.

    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    The process is to enter your phone number and then receive a one-time code by SMS. If your registered device and mobile phone are one and the same and you'd lost/broken this, then you'd need a replacement SIM to have been received and activated in order to complete activation. There is no need to deactivate the old device - a new activation would simply take over.

    There is no conflict. Chase will just register you on the new device and remove your account from the old device.
