On this issue of my spouse opening up an account, am I right in assuming she will need to do this via a separate device to the iPad I’ve used to set mine up as I can see no option to set up another individual’s account within the app. So if her phone isn’t compatible with the app, and I don’t think it will be, we can’t do it without getting another device which can download the app and set it up in her name?
Correct, she needs her own physical 64-bit device (and passport/DL). As discussed in other threads, such a device can be had for around £200 or less. Chase pays £1,275 interest on £85K, the next nearest, Cynergy, £1,020 (before any tax that might be due).
Can a dual sim phone facilitate 2 Chase accounts on a single qualifying device? If so and you have the phone, you only need a PAYG sim...

Is it possible to access the Chase UK account using a browser on a laptop or computer?
Or is it ONLY accessible via the app?

    Sadly no.

The best option for a larger screen as a tablet. I use my iPad which is wifi only, so it does not require a connection to any cellular network, although a smartphone mobile phone is required for SMS confirmations.

    Smartphone for SMS?
Or do you mean mobile phone.

And the app works fine on a smartphone small screen. I suspect that is how most users are accessing it.

If the device supports multiple users then it should be possible to set up a second account after switching user. There is no need for the device used to run the app to be the same device running the SIM used for the mobile number. A different (non-compatible) phone could be used in conjunction with a compatible device running the app.

Yes, any mobile phone is ok if you have a separate device with the app, a smartphone is not needed.
As for size, I guess we have our own preferences ;)

Yes, my mistake, I mean mobile phone.

I am sure that the app works fine on most smartphones, but I dislike banking on a small screen. In any case my smartphone is not compatible with Chase.

Surely app only banking on a tablet is completely different to app only banking on a tablet.
    *Cough*

Oh dear, and that was not even typing on mobile.

I have just qualified for my state pension. Is this what it is going to be like from now on.

There is no hard credit search. It is not being reported to the CRAs either.
