I asked chase if they would increase the foreign atm withdrawals, as £700 per month is pretty low. They are prepared to increase this to 1k temporarily for a holiday. They said that limits could be increased overtime anyway.

It would be great if it’s increased!

Does anyone know how 'enabling location services' helps in the chase app makes your account more secure ?
It flags to them your current location. So if your card is suddenly used in Italy and your phone is in the UK, they could probably suspect something might not be right...
Could be annoying though if you had a different phone on holiday?
Don't switch location tracking on / switch it off if you turned it on before. It's optional.

I didn't realise they had a limit, thanks. Having said that it is highly unlikely I'd need that much anyway,

Click on person icon, top left of app and spending limits can be viewed. I would prefer a 3k limit myself.

Disappointing they don't even have an option to change max contactless spend.

There’s a lot of functionality missing for now - whilst the cashback, savings interest and fee free use abroad is all good, there’s a lot more needed before I would consider using it as a primary current account

Do they use the spot rate for currency conversion - or pretty close?

Presumably you can only have one Chase account (ignoring that you can do multiple sub-accounts)?
I know in the past you could have, for example, 2x Santander 123 accounts or 3x BoS accounts.
We're waiting to find a house to purchase and therefore have an amount more than the Chase account interest earning limit. Preferably I would put the amount just in my wife's name as she could earn the interest tax free.
