Sir Keir Starmer will be in No.10 by Easter.
His pledge to create a National Power Service which makes gas and electricity free to all, like our beloved National Health Service makes medicine free, will be a great relief for people.
 Bless you, Sir Keir!0

The Labour proposal is for an agency to build up and manage the country's renewable capacity and infrastructure, not providing free energy. This seems a wilful misunderstanding of the proposal.1

Free Energy ? and how much will we pay for this free energy?0

Its Politics that decides and passes Laws that the Courts enforce or are the courts higher than the House of Parliament? I know king charles and his royal family are higher than Parliament but are the courts higher too?QrizB said:bery_451 said:Questions are if she is kicked out like they kicked out Boris Johnson then her above policy will be reversed undone correct? The Energy Price Guarantee is a political promise, not a legal commitment. As such it's even more vulnerable than the incumbent PM.
People voted for Liz Truss for the Energy Price Cap like people have voted for Brexit and it has to be delivered to the people otherwise this country cannot be classed as a democratic country no more!0

If there was a general election again lots of people will vote for Liz Truss unless they don't mind paying £5000 a year energy bills.Ultrasonic said:Personally I suspect the EPG will stay no matter what, including if we have an early general election (please!). I don't recall any particular adverse financial markets or currency reaction when the policy was announced?0

How is he gonna give us free energy when most of the Nuclear Power Stations in the UK are closed down by Global Warming activists such as Greta Thunberg and her school buddiesMiser1964 said:Sir Keir Starmer will be in No.10 by Easter.

Nuclear Energy has hardly no Co2 and you only need 5 grams of Plutonium or Uranium to power a whole city for a month I heard. Plutonium and Uranium are not expensive metals, I bet copper is more expensive then these both.
Renewable Energy such as Solar, Wind is not Scalable and is very expensive for this equipment and is Intermittent energy depending on weather seasons not constant energy like nuclear.
China has built their own Artificial Sun which is Nuclear Fusion not Nuclear Fission.
France energy bills are super cheap because they haven't closed down their Nuclear Power stations.1

Labour will say anything to get in the power. There's no chance of delivering this renewable energy nonsense. The only option is nuclear energy if Keith Starmer promise to re-open these nuclear power stations then he has a chance of winning.GingerTim said:The Labour proposal is for an agency to build up and manage the country's renewable capacity and infrastructure, not providing free energy. From the money printed from the Bank of England Money Printers of course!Krakkkers said:Free Energy ? and how much will we pay for this free energy?
Obviously this will lead to higher Inflation resulting in much more higher prices everywhere except for free energy which is free.
When it comes to survival people just need 2 things:
 - Food
 - Energy
These 2 run the whole economy otherwise we all be dead never mind a economy.
If your bag of chips rise to £10-20 a portion due to Inflation but your energy bills are free saving you £5000-6000 a year then sounds like a good deal right lol?0
