Morning all
Busy work week so catching up this weekend. Yesterday I did a lot of flying including cleaning the kitchen from top to bottom ( even emptied the cupboards and drawers and cleaned inside) a few bits were liberated for the cs but not much. It looks better though! While I concentrated on the kitchen DH tackled the rest of the house… washing was also done and it pretty much dried outside in the wind.Today I want to do some batch cooking so will try not to undo all my work from yesterday, I also bought some beef to roast for supper, that will need to stretch to at least 2 lots of meals as it was expensive!Other than that a quietish day is planned, weather permitting I may do a few bits in the garden as the chap comes on Tuesday to start relandscaping it, our garden is also small but we will hopefully end up with a bigger area for sitting out once this work is done.

Morning all,
Serious patio and garden envy from here too, Narc0. Like YL, our paving needs completely revamping, but even the “quick fix” that we have been discussing for years hasn’t happened. Now that DD is no longer a toddler, tripping over the uneven patio (yes, it has been discussed for that long), I guess that the next impetus will be if our own old age means we can’t avoid the broken slabs.
Enjoy your coastal walk, YL. It’s blustery here, so I’m guessing your cobwebs will get blown away.
Not sure about today’s plans as yet - I need to s&s the bathroom, may persuade DH to take a walk to the allotment with me, if I can rouse myself.8 -

Morning all xx
Only one thing that I must do today:
Request repeat prescription
So far today:
I'm up 😁
Made my bed
Read a couple of chapters of my book
Supped 2 brews
WM x 1
Got dressed
Laundry shuffle
Took steam mop upstairs (still in box, it will eventually live in the cupboard under the stairs which is currently rammed full of erm rammel.)
Fed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Filled the birdbath
Put 2 (broken) plastic seed trays in the bin
Unpacked the bottom layer of a box of cans of pop - cans in fridge, box recycled.
Charged my phone
Bowl of pots is soaking.
And I've listened to:
Calypso - John Denver (thanks HB)
Morning has Broken- Cat Stevens
The Servant King - Graham Kendrick
Rivers of Babylon - Boney M
I'm not watching any news. There being nothing on TV at all that I wanted to watch last night I read my book.
Much love to you all ❤ xx

MorningOH is packing as he is going away in Europe for a week, not very happy about it, but he wants to go, enough said...........Cats sorted.£15 sale made, out of the shed, in to their car, paid and away, fling...........It is very cold here, but the sun is out, so grouting the patio and power washing are off for now, I cannot see the point in getting cold for the sake of something that can be done during next week, I don't have a lot on next week, except looking after me and the clowders!Love the patio, I am working on getting mine up to that standard.New Post Prices is anyone wants them:- https://www.royalmail.com/sites/royalmail.com/files/2022-03/royal-mail-our-prices-april-2022-v2.pdf

WM x 2, first lot dangling on the line, second lot twirling and two more loads to go.Lodger decluttered back to London, bed stripped, room dusted and vacuumed (most unlike me on a Sunday), stairs and passage vacuumed, bins emptied and sorted for brown bin day tomorrow, meal plan done for the week, shopping list created, lodger's left behind food stashed. Does anyone know if I can put chia seeds and / or flax seeds in bread? The brown rice and tin of tomatoes I can deal with but the pure vegan food, not a clue. Doors and windows flung open for a bit more air. Spring has defo sprung here - I saw some blossom on an ornamental cherry on The Hoe yesterday morning.Belovéd vacuumed the ground floor while his team were eating their half time oranges and he's now back to shouting at the 'blind' ref which is what he always does unless they're winning, in which case the ref's a jolly good bloke.Better is good enough.8
