Well i dont know if it the birthday but mr LH is very down today making him grumpy and miserable. It didnt help he was up early so he is tired and dd rang to say she couldnt come round as she has s & d and didnt want to risk passing anything on. Instead she will try to come next week.Bought him steak and cava for his dinner butenede up paying nearly double for the wine as they hadnt got my usual brand. Got home and realised I had one that I bought for my birthday that we didnt drink as dd gave me one as part of my present so annoyed with myself.Nothing else happening in the wonderful world of LH. I hope you are having a happier day than here.3

I’m sure the cava will come in for another occasion. Sorry to hear Mr LH is feeling down on his birthday. As you get older it’s not as exciting as it used to be unfortunately.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Hope Mr LH is feeling a bit brighter today."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Mr LH is feeling better today. I think part of it was that dd couldnt come to see us. They have a really odd relationship. He is very critical at times and annoys her. He can be quite cold towards her but really loves her to bits although she doesnt see that. However that is the way he was brought up and I usually describe his family as three people who lived together rather than being a family who talked and do things together.Usual walks with Bear today and Mr LH has decided he needs a different harness so we will see about it after he field day on Monday (if we get there as the weather forecast is not brilliant). Personally I am not convinced but I cant be bothered to argue and I think Bear will be fine in a different one.Very lazy day today but did do a bit of weedin other than that nothing really achieved except no money spent..3

I'm glad Mr LH is feeling brighter today. In my experience few families are 'perfect' but that doesn't mean they don't love each other.
Glad you got some fresh air exercising Bear and in the garden.

Yesterday I cleaned the patio windoes both sides and the outside of the conservatory windows, Shattered by that time but after a sit down walked the dog with mr LH. I was going to clean the inside of the windows today but it has rained all day so that was a wash out. Packed two parcels for ebay sales and waiting for payment for a third before packing it. Did some tidying of stuff that mr LH had used an abandoned.I use some of the chard I have grown with our roast pork dinner tonight. Mr LH asked what i was and said he had never heard of chard but ate it anyway.I do enjoy going into the garden to pick veg to use staight away.At the moment both Bear and Mr LH are fast asleep so all is peaceful here.4

Well the buses are playing silly ****** again. I have no idea what is going on. Went to catch my usual one at just gone 9am. It showed as due on the app and then disappeared so assumed it had broken down so waited for the next one and exactly the same happened and the following one was showing as cancelled. . No sign to say the bus stop is closed or anything so retuerned home and got mr LH to take me to the PO on the way home from Bears outing to the field. I have checked the bus company website to see if there was anything on it but nothing there, no point in getting in touch with customer servicrs as they never reply and if they do they never answer the question you have asked so I have sent an email to the CEO. We will see what happens. The app used to have a map so you could see exactly where the bus is and see if they went off route but now all you get is how many minutes until the next one reaches your stop and if they dont arrive they just go on to the next one.It started to rain just before we left for Bears outing so we debated but ended up going anyway although we did cut it short by 10minutes as it started hammering down. He enjoyed himself and has slept much of the afternoon except for tea time.Mr LH is off to get the rust proofing done on the car tomorrow. We will have a courtesy car for a couple of days which will be interesting as he hasnt driven a manual car for many years and it is a 2hour journey home. I must admit I will be relieved when he gets home. He has to be there at 9am so it will be a very early morning tomorrow because getting out of our town can take an hour or more to get on the motorway which is about a mile away. I am not looking forward to. it.4

One of my friends lives in a village where the bus just stops running randomly. I went to her house a few months ago and waited over 2 hours for a bus that never arrived. Ended up getting a taxi to the nearest train station then a train back home which cost a lot more than the bus would have. Terrible service.Hope tomorrow is better than expected.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
