Enjoy your books and well done on finding the bargain shoes as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

I havent started the books yet as I am in the middle of another but I am sure they will be enjoyed. Its been a beautiful day here and so warm we had to cut Bears lunchtime walk short as he was getting too hot. One short shower this morning and thats it. You cant rely on the weather forecast in this area a it can rain at one end of town and get sunburn at the other. Bear met two of his friends while out and had some treats with them.Roast chicken dinner cooked and cleared away so risotto tomorrow.2 items sold today and just waiting for payment. I have listed a few other things so we will see how it goes.I found an odd tiny carrot in the middle of lettuces. Either bear has been rplanting or a bird got a seed and dropped it. All my otthers disappeared as have my courgettes. They flowered but nothing developed. My gardening is very hit and miss.4

Today has been up and down. Out to PO first thing to find when I arrived at 9.15 they were saying it would be another 5 - 10 minutes before they opened and the queue was at the door so by the time I got there it would be another 10 minutes at least on top of that. Standing is not my thing and I would have missed my bus and probably the one after that and thanks to the app I knew the one after that wasnt running so it would have been about 11am before I got home so I abandoned the idea and just bought the things I needed and came home.Bear had his off lead time which he really enjoyed as it is a bit cooler this week and no rain. He has been sleeping all afternoon then had his tea and is just chilling in the conservatory which is his favourite place. I have discovered he likes strawberries and when given a blueberyy he pushed it around for a bit and then ate it.£100 sent to the savings account so when the 2 big bills come in I am now only £100 short which I will be able to find by then from my attendance allowance.I have now got £300 in the Christmas fund which more than covers gifts, £1450 in the emergency fund and £500 in the car account which I am hoping ill cover the insurance but as Mr LH is getting older it may rise quite a bit.Tonight risotto didnt happen as mr LH dcided he wanted chicken and chips and I had an omelette with bacon and tomato which was supposed to go in the risotto so it wasnt wasted. There is plenty of chicken left for tomorrow so will have to think what to do with it. I have also found 2 of the courgettes that I thought had disappeared.Tomorrow back to the PO with todays parcel and the 2nd one that has now been paid for. That, I think, covers today..5

Bear sounds really happy and settled now, it’s lovely to hear. I never thought of trying my dog with strawberries, she loves bananas and apples. Well done on building up some money in the pots.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

SA I never get a whole banana these days as Bear is quite keen on them and sits and looks at me with big eyes when I have my cup of tea and banana mid morning. Usual dog walks today and managed to avoid the rain which started just after we got home from the lunchtime one. Hopefully I wont be doing his evening one tonight as I want to see the sewing bee final.Nothing spent today but I will have to pop out tomorrow for steak and wine as I completely forgot Mr LHs birthday when I went shopping. Thats after texting dd to remind her about it. We havent done presents for many years.Nothing else happening today other than some housework and carrying on reading my book. My life is so exciting I dont think.3
