How glamorous you will be in the classic car, car, roof down, radio on, headscarf on, sunglasses on and smelling divine!
    LOve this picture.

Me too. It’s a shame the reality doesnt look glamorous. More like Hilda Ogden without the curlers.  :p

Too busy. Blooming heck. Bet he won’t be too busy to send his very expensive bill when the time comes.

    Evening all

The "glamour" of the sports car has been knocked on the head for the forseeable as we are forecast rain every day for at least 10 days. Mr LH is not happy.

He announced today that we are going to have to replace the camper in the near future as the rust is going to mean an MOT failure in January . With the age of the car it is coming to the end of its useful life as it really isnt worth spending money on it. The MOT is due at the beginning of January so he has until then to find something suitable. The solicitor migght have shuifted himself by then.

Managed to get a tiny bit of pre winter stuff done in the garden before the heavens opened.

The pillow feels lovely but I am goiing to have to lose the second one under it when I sleep as it makes it too high. Shows how flat the old one was. I am hoping using it on its own wont be too low. I am quite fussy about the height. Cant you tell.

I got soaked on my walk last night but managed to stay dry this morning. Mr LH has opted out of his lunchtime walk due to the rain. I will see what tonights brings. It is raining quite hard at the moment so not too hopeful.

    Have a good evening.

Not much to say this evening but here goes

I did get wet on last nights walk but this mornings was dry so a bonus as it has rained on and off all day.

I have booked my flu jab for the begining of October after a prompt from the gp.

The gp have also sent a questionaire about chronic pain. I dont expect it will make the slightest difference to me but it is done.

Electoral register for edited on line as Mr LH is 76 and therefore no longer eligible for jury service.

Usual money shuffle to acount for sm shopping which is paid for on credit card but always paid off when the bill comes. It never used to be but budgeting means the money is always there now so no interest for me.

I have ordered some winter fllowering plants to cheer the garden up during the colder and darker months as they were a special offer from the plant company I sometime use.

Waited in for a Mr LH parcel due between 12 and 3 and womder of wonders it arrived with 8 minutes to spare.

Farm shop visit to get bacon and black pudding. Had to use the camper as it was too wet to get the sports car out of the garage so no glamour here. It does have a roof but Mr LH wont use it in the rain yet.

That was longer than I wxpected.

    Have a good evening.

Thank you for the idea. I tried it last night and it worked well so a happy bunny with my new pillow.
  • Thank you for the reminder to book a flu jab, I hadn't got it in my head that it's that season now.
Yet another thing to save up for but I'd rather be even skinter than have flu.

Winter flowering plants sounds blimmin lovely, and good to be able to support a business you trust too

I was looking at credit cards earlier and they're still not right for me at this stage, but if it's not another task, have a gander to see if you could be getting vouchers or cashback from yours if you're not already https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/best-credit-card-rewards/
