I hope completion has happened and that you are having a lovely time at the theatre!
Well done on the weight loss too, that's great"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Evening allMany thanks to all for your good wishes. Sorry to keep you waiting. Explaination below
House completed at lunchtime and we have the interim paymant that we asked for. The rest will have to wait until the solicitor is back from holiday on the 26th and then however long it takes him to complete the estate account. I dont think either of us can believe it is done.Just so you get the picture I am sitting feeling full of fish and chips with a glass of bubbly at my side. I am not sure I will make the walk tonight. The show (Les Mis) was excellent and as I expected shed a few tears through "bring him home". I dont know why but it always makes me cry.The reason I am late here is due to the buses or rather road works. There was a huge diversion through the countryside which wasnt a problem going as I alway leave plenty of time but coming home took about 2 hours from the time I left the theatre due to the buses running very late. It should take just about an hour and a quarter. Then the chiooy was busy so I had to wait a while. We are apparently going to see a car in Oxfordshire on Monday. He couldnt want something common.Tomorrow I need to send some thank you cards to those people who have helped us and order some flowers for bils neighbour who has been so good to us.over the last 16months.I am now officially shattered so will say have a good evening with apolies for any spelling/ grammar errors. I blame the alcohol.10 -
Very pleased that it is sold and that show was enjoyable in spite of the traffic problems.

(PS Hope you aren't handing over all the funds for another car to sit in the garage, you did all the work regarding the house, you did all the visiting over the last 5 years, he was your relative and you want to have plenty funds available for if you see a bungalow you want to buy so you get more house available for you to use 😃 )22: 3🏅 4⭐ 23: 5🏅 6 ⭐ 24 1🏅 2⭐ 25 🏅 🥈⭐ Never save something for a special occasion.
