So glad that the house sale is now complete - it will take a few days to relax after months of background tension plus the underlying sadness of the loss of your sister and bil whose home it was.2

Evening allSorry been awol for a few days. I did start to post yesterday but got interupted and by the time I was free it was bedtime.Monday we went to look at a car about 2 1/2 hours away. Good trip there but awful one back. A very long delay on the M4 so we hit the Bristol area about rush hour. Not a good time to get there. When we got nearer home I think it took us about 3/4 hour to do the last mile on the motorway but once we were on normal roads we got home quite quickly. Yes we did buy the car so the journey was worth it. Mr LH went to collect it today by train. Every train was on time so he was happy. Coming back there were the inevitable road works and a lorry breakdown but only about 1/2 hour later than expected. He now has a big smile on his face for the firsttime in a long while. He was supposed to go to his festival tomorrow but is going Thursday instead and coming home Monday instead of Tuesday so I still get a decent amount of peace.I havent really decided what to do over the next few days mainly because I am not feeling great today. I think it is the result of being dragged into town to get some camping stuff as he will be under canvas instead of in the van as he usually is which meant a lot of walking. Still did a short walk this morning and I will go out later. Not sure how far I will go until I start and see how my breathing does.Lounge given a brief clean and a load of wahing done but mostly I have relaxed and read my book.Have a good evening.5

Sorry I forgot to answer Sarahwithlove. There is still enough money to do the windows. All I have to do is get Mr LH to clear his junk room so they can get to the window because at the moment there is no chance.1

Glad Mr LH is happy with his car. Hope you get to put your feet up and relax for the next few days."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Good morning.I am having a fairly lazy few days and just pottering. I have eaten far too much rubbish so there wont be a weight loss this week and very likely put some on.I did go into town yesterday but couldnt find anything I wanted to buy. I did have a phone call from Mr LH whilst out. His sat nav is broken so he wanted the address of a shop that might sell them in the largeish big town near the fetsival. I did that on the bus home but still cant work out why he couldnt do it himself on his phone. There is jumble trail locally today so might go and have a look at some of the nearer stalls on the scooter. Out this evening for my dds birthday meal. I will meet my youngest dgds boyfriend for the first time. I am told he is very shy so must remember that.MrLH rang about 9.30 last night to say he wont be home until Tuesday as the festival have got an extra day so people dont have to travel on bank holiday Monday. He is in N. Wales and he has been warned the coast road gets grid locked over bank holidays so coming home Tuesday is a good option and I get an extra day to myself. Some of the inheritance money have been put in my ISA as the car cost less than i thought it would. Will top it up to the maximum when the estate if fully settled.Off now to do some more relaxing. Have a good day.7
