Hope you are feeling better, @ladyholly. Cystitis is a damn nuisance, isn't it?

Evening all.Thank you for your good wishes. I could certainly have done without the cystitis but got my antibiotics first thing this morning - well 9am when they opened. Started them as soon as I got home. I have never had it before and certainly dont want it again.Got very ratty in Sainsbury when I went to buy a bread roll. There were no bags so went to the counter where they have the bread slicer. No staff, waited a couple of minutes as I could hear staff in the back. Eventually yelled excuse me- nothing and nobody, tried banging the counter. Still nothing except chatting and laughter from the back. Then an assistant came into view with her back to me so I yelled even louder and she ambled over as if I was being very inconvenient. I asked for a bag and got a blank look. I said for rolls there arent any. Of course she had to go and look as though I was being stupid. No there were were no bags. Ambled back behind the counter and said there should be some. By this time I was thoroughly fed up but after searching through several boxes she found spome and passed one to me with the comment "you can use one of these". I dont take my scooter into shops in consideration that it is used over grassy and muddy ground and my tyres have quite deep treads so I dont want to leave dirt on shop floors so I was standing all the time this was going on and not really feeling at my best anyway. I also had my sunflower hidden disability lanyard on but I dont think it registered with her. I did enjoy my bread roll though.Spent some time in the garden when I got home tidying up and weeding some of my pots. There is some more work that needs doing so that may happen tomorrow depending how I feel. The front lawn was cut- not by us and now looks much better.Mr LH is continuing with the garage and still hasnt finished. There isnt that much as most of the garage is full of car but he works so slowly it drives me mad and only spends about half an hour a day doing it. I just hope he puts it all back very soon as it is cluttering up the conservatory and the garden.Bear has been chatting to the puppy next door and obviously he can smell him. He will be able to out at the end of next week and we are hoping to introducethem as it would be good if Bear can tolerate him.Off now to reach my bookas there is nothing appealing to watch on tv - we are not Eurovision fans. For those taht are enjoy and for others that arenet have a pleasant evening .2

I'm glad you enjoyed your bread roll at least!
Much as I bemoan doing my receipt surveys, they do at least provide an opportunity to give unimpressed feedback without feeling like the sort of person who makes complaints about everything. That is very poor form of that shop all round though.
Lovely that the garden and lawn are looking better, and good that Mr H is getting on with sorting even at a slower than preferable rate. I'm very much looking forward to hearing the story of When Bear Met the Puppy Next Door1 -
At my local Sainsbury's they used to have a bell where they will cut bread for you. Don't know why it's gone, maybe customers are just an inconvenience.
I've been to a car boot with DH as he loves them and can't manage by himself, I hate them and it was huge. I got home and cut the grass, sorted out the bins and fell asleep after lunch. Oh dear proper old lady having a nap.2 -
Evening allYou are right some shops do think that customers are an inconvenience. I put it down to a lack of training and very poor management.A very lazy day today as I felt I needed it.A lot of reading done.3 parcels packed ready to post in the morning when I go into town.Roast pork dinner this evening.I cant get a taxi tomorrow for the optician so the bus it is. It goes even earlier than I thought. I will have to leave home just after 8am.And thats my day. Have a good evening.

Evening allOut at 8am to get to the optician for 9.10. I have two pairs ordered as I am struggling with the distance to the computer. (I have very odd eyesight). That was £160 for the cheapest ones.By the time I had walked from the bus stop to the optician I was worn out and cheated coming home and got a taxi. That was me done for the morning.I have been refused a blue badge as I expected. I suspect due to a lack of medical evedence as I rarely pester the gp and just tend to put up with things. Its a shame as it would have made shopping easier since Mr LH insists on parking as far from the shop as he can.The family that are hopefully buying biil's house visited it this afternoon. I hope all was ok. I will email the estate agent in a minute to ask if they are happy.I will have to do the shopping on the scooter tomorrow as the garage door is being done. i am looking forward to that but wonder how long the conservatory is going to be full of all the stuff from the garage. Its a shame as Mr LH is at a festival next week and it would have been the idal oppurtunity to give it a good clean but no doubt I will find some else to do.
Have a good evening.2 -
Glad you got a taxi home. I think it’s worth appealing the blue badge. From the email I am not bad enough and dont have the medical evidence largely because the gp isnt really interested and I have had all the usual tests for breating and all have been fine. The neurologist doesnt believe it is the nyashenia because symptoms usually develop within 2 years and mine didnt so I am stuck with no diagnosis.

If you appeal then you will be most likely asked for a medical which gives you the chance to explain things clearly.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters.
