Thank you all for your good wishes. I am still feeling pretty rubbish. Its onlty a cold but it has hit me quite hard, hardly any sleep last night as was having trouble trouble breathing with a blocked nose.We had an appointment to have the internet upgraded between 8am and 1pm. No show and we were just about to take Bear out at 1.10 and they phoned to say they were running late so they did eventually arrive. Anyway we now have full fibre internet. Better late than never.Nothing else today as really I have just sat sneezed, coughed and blown my nose. I hope everyone is feeling well.5

This cold has been horrible but I think I am coming out the other side today. I rarely get them but when I do they are always bad ones. I have a GP appointment today to get the results from all the tests I had so hopefully I may know a bit more about my breathing issues. I have dug out some masks to use and just hope I can breathe in them but I dont want to infect the doctor. I have been overdosing on honey and lemon and yesterday I bought some lovely soft tissues which my nose greatly appreciates.Shopping done yesterday morning and I got a taxi home as Mr LH is also full of cold and I didnt think sitting waiting for me was a good idea. Being a man his ccolds are always much worse than mine.A load of washing done but I think because its so cold it will take about 3 days to dry. I will put the bookcase case today that we had to move for the internet engineers. I couldnt raise the energy yeesterday but after the first reasonable nights sleep since Sunday - only awake unable to breathe with stuffed nose 3 times i am feeling a little better. I think a taxi to and from the doctor is in order. I usually walk there but I dont think that would be a good idea today as I suspect I may be walking Bear on my own at lunchtime if Mr LH is not well.I have at last booked the panto tickets for my dgds I have received a text saying they would pay this year but I will believe that when I get the money.Money saving and frugality has been out of the window this week as I am just doing what is necessary while I am poorly. Next week I will start again and sort out Christmas as nothing has been done yet. Good job its only the 2 of us.Right off now to start doing wahat I need toget done.2

Went downhill yesterday afternoon and went to bed at 9.30pm which is unheard of. I have had a horrible headache every time I woke up but thats gone now, I just cant stop coughing so sitting here with honey and lemon.A friend visited yesterday afternoon so I missed my afternoon sleep and much as I love having her visit it was hard work and I think thats what knocked me down. I havent had a cold this bad for many years and I dont envy anyone else who gets it.Nothing is getting done really as I just cant face doing much othe than the essentials. I walked Bear this morning and although there is a thick frost I quite enjoyed the cold. I ave just turned the heating off after it kicked in at 16. It is now set at 15 which is better for me at the moment. I am sure Mr LH will put it up when he gets up.Didnt really get any answers at the doctor as all the tests were fine so I have come to the conclusion much of the breatlessness is due to my weight. I am going to make a concerted effort to lose some and see if it helps. It wont hurt anyway and I might be able to expand my wardrobe with some of the things that dont fit at the moment.Hope everyone is well and at least today is Friday.4
