Awww iona I'm glad I made you laugh. You don't need the flylady bus, come in your car. 💕
Thank you asb - it's lovely to know that someone is thinking about me through the day. Today was manic - the Service operates fairly well with 2 on phones even better with 3 on phones. Today there was just me. It's impossible. At one point I'd been taking call after call after call when I noticed there were 3 callers waiting and the longest wait was 32 minutes. I stuck my head round my supervisor's door and she was sat eating her lunch. Not a care in the world. Has anyone seen my dummy? I spat it out. 🥴
I've brought in the emptied bin, got changed and eaten two cream cakes. Is eating flying? I guess it's decluttering of a kind.
Love to all. You really are amazing.

Infuriating, Round. Well done for dummy spitting - everyone's entitled to lunch but it's not okay when a member of your own staff is holding back a flood tide.Ionafan, you're welcome to come and stay here for a break any time you can get away. There's a spare room that's had no-one in it for so long I keep the food stash in there!Piggers, that tap looks amazing and I totally get why you want it, but I do hope you and your DH can feel comfortable with each other again fairly soon. Being angry for days is exhausting in itself and I worry you've been running on empty for months now.Super weird dream, Valli!Volunteering done, taught myself a new procedure that will take a bit of extra practise before I can teach my sidekick, shopping done and put away, Layla trunded. Belovéd is cooking tonight thank goodness because my feet hurt!If anyone would like a Ukrainian flag-coloured ribbon PM me your address and I'll bung one in the post - so many people have commented on it today that I'm going to make a batch to give away.Better is good enough.8

Lots going on here, too tired to absorb much but glad Mr Ionafan is home, and at least they are trying to get a proper diagnosis about Twinkle.
Pigpen sometimes I just want to bring you to mine, let you collapse on my sofa and look after you for a bit. Hope the tap thing gets sorted x
So, I went for a smear test and they found some odd looking cells. Smear was all OK but nurse wanted another look. She had another look, said all was fine, but said she had to consult with GP. GP now wants a look. I really dont want anyone else poking about down there and no-one can tell me exactly what they are looking for!! I am putting off ringing for an appointment.
Long day at the paid stuff but 2 hours ahead which means an early finish tomorrow. Washing almost dried outside, house is fairly clean and tidy but kitchen could do with a proper clean. Feet up now.
Oh, just remembered, first I have to answer endless questions from a woman about a dress I have listed on Fleabay for £2.99, this is why I hate selling stuff, she probably wont bid on it anyway.8 -
YL.. I'd just book another smear in 6 months time.. if they were ok but 'odd' it's probably just hormonal stuff.. if the lab isn't concerned by them they're no doubt fine but it won't hurt to get it checked again in a bit.. it's better than avoiding the dr entirely. ooh.. the Monday appointment might be my smear and bloods actually.. I best get a wash lol.
I have a 'buyer' asking if her big norks will fit in a top... how the heck should I know? I will find said top and measure the chest and that can do.. oh and someone wants a pic of a dress hung up.. I don't have room for that in my house!! I'm not sure we even own a hanger in all honesty!
Talking of smears DD2 is 25 in July and has just been called in for her first smear.. she didn't realise you have them every 5 years, she thought they were a one off.. apparently that stuff isn't covered at school.. So I had to go through the whole what they do, how they do it, what they are looking for etc.. she was utterly clueless.. she knew it was 'down there' but nothing more. I told her that I know they always say 'it won't hurt' and then it does but this really doesn't hurt, unless they do it very wrong.. it's like getting the toothbrush on your gums when scrubbing your teeth.
Girls away for the night so I am getting my knitting out.. I have really had enough of this week.

YSL, I'm going to repeat what Jazee said, get that appointment booked. Been there, waiting doesn't help.
Pigpen, I hope you have success at the GPs
Today I MUST clean, 3 visits to see the house on Saturday afternoon.
Bed made, clothes picked up, windows are open
DW done
So it'll be music on this morning and then TV this afternoon, the Paralympics start today and those athletes more than deserve our support.
OK off to close windows, sort out a load for WM and put window cleaner on charge.9 -
YL - I'm with Jazee, please ring and make the appointment.
