Happy Sunday ladies! Just chillin' on the sofa with my pooches and a cuppa. DH (yes, he made up for being a SH yesterday) has popped out to help a friend move some heavy work equipment, Small has gone to his friend's bowling party and Tiny is watching TV. It is very peaceful here ATM. This is how I like life to be. Not the constant chaos, disaster and noise that seems to be the norm. One day, I will have my Little House on the Prarie setup.
ASB I'm so jealous of your quackers...I want some but we don't have a pond, sadly.
Oh, some good news...I've been awarded £500 Covid Isolation payment for when we were all poorly and Small was given our first choice of secondary school, which is a relief!
Hope you get to rest today Fayolle ...running on empty is bad for the body and soul.
See you all later x6 -
Hi all
Hope those feeling out of sorts or tired have managed some rest today. I did my finance spreadsheets, baked cookies and rock cakes for DHs pack up, went for a 20 mile cycle ride, cleaned the bathroom and washed the floor, gave everywhere a quick hoover, mopped kitchen and utility floors and have just cleaned the kitchen after DH made fajitas. Now I am sitting with feet up and a glass of wine wondering where the weekend went.
Mealplan to do and a plan for the week to make. I have no evening meetings this week which is a rare thing, in fact it shouldnt be stupidly busy at the paid stuff unless something has happened that I dont yet know about.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend all xx7 -
