Hi all
ASB that was me yesterday, I struggled on until 9.30pm just because I didnt want to give in and go to bed, then fell instantly to sleep and slept like the dead until 7.30am. I do this a couple of times a month and I am not sure if it is normal but I feel better for it. Probably my age.
So, up in good time, workout done, washing on the line, off to the big city for stuff for the house and garden (probably spent more than we should have done), £10 for 2 lunch including coffee, then back to our nephews birthday, prosecco drunk and cake eaten, and home. Nice day.
Cycling tomorrow with DH if he feels OK. This will be the first time he will have managed to ride his bike for months because of this mysterious illness that he has been suffering with, so fingers crossed. I also need to do some baking and upstairs could do with a proper hoover.
Much love Pigpen like everyone else I sometimes wish I could actually do something to help, but I am always cheering you on from afar.10 -

well I have spent the day in bed/om the sofa. Woke up with D&V. DD went to my mum and dad's = mum has D&V, as does my sister.
We went out for lunch on Thursday and I had the exact same meal as mum and sis. It cannot be a coincidenceDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Evening all...looks like huge hugs are needed all round, so I'm sending 'em! Duck if you don't want one.
I've rage cleaned my kitchen worksurfaces as I had an horrendous overnight shift where I told two particularly obnoxious young girls to $0d off, the computer system crashed, leaving 8 cars in the drive-through and mixing up lots of orders and the early morning crew were either all late or no-shows with the nighters running short staffed already. I had an epic rant and strop on the What's App group and demanded management sort it out. To be fair one of them came back to me immediately and apologised and things should now be dealt with.
Oh, and when I got home, SH (I'm using that, thanks Iona) is still in bed, no animals fed, no children ready for football, fire gone out, so no hot water for me to shower and basically being a lazy, fat, unwanted turd. Gah! I'd be better off on my own. Seriously thinking about starting a female-only Flylady retreat...
Got a visit planned from a disaster and major loss company on Tuesday, who say they're going to catalogue everything and help clean up. Really? THREE weeks after the event? Do they really think I could live with river sludge and silt over all my stuff for that long? I'm fuming. New range cooker, WM and TD already bought, installed and in use, at our own cost as the insurance company and the loss adjusters seem incapable of moving faster than dead slow.
Humph...got another night shift tonight...might be my last I haven't decided yet.

Thank you Dizzy, I needed that! Another hard day at the coalface here... still struggling to get the accounts done
I shall be joining asb and YL in the race for bed.

Evening all. Hugs where needed.
I've been busy since last night with poorly baby again but she has just been picked up.
Tomorrow, I will try to have a lie in, will need to change sofa covers, do Sundailies and floor mopping and walk the dogs. There's loads more that needs doing but like a lot of you, I'm tired, I've temporarily taken on extra hours at work and we have visitors in the afternoon.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
PHEW!!! I have finished digging out my bed. I have a binag of rubbish, a huuuuge pile for CS and a mountain for V!nted..
WMs and TDs and DW on again.. I am EXHAUSTED!!!
I have eczema bleeding and oozing on my hands which is gross.. going to get some plasters and cream on it, snaffle some meds and crack on with some Dr Who scarf.. I would like to hit halfway before bed if I can bear to be awake.. not that sleep is any less nasty.

Morning all
Dizzy I would love to have been a fly on the wall, at least you had no visitors in the house. We called into a big M@rris@ns cafe yesterday. 2 members of staff on, about 3 clean tables, no clean cups, mess everywhere. The poor member of staff trying to do everything was beside herself and told us that the company have decided to reduce staff numbers.
Wide awake at 6am so decided to get up, I wont be able to sleep tonight otherwise. DH was feeling a bit achy last night so not sure if cycling will happen. Wish I could persuade him to do some pilates as I am sure that would help.
Not sure what I am going to do with myself now. Maybe I should do my finance spreadsheets. Maybe more coffee would help.

Morning all
Still very tired here. Disturbed night with DS who has a heavy cold, at 2am I went to give him calpol only to realise we had none... cue me cutting a paracetamol in half and teaching him to swallow tablets in the middle of the night! He did it second attempt bless him, not bad for an 8 year old, but was up again at 5.15... so here we are.
Cluckers and quackers sorted, fire stoked and re-lit, porridge made for small beings, I will drink this cuppa then get the tea loaf in the oven.
Have lovely days all xx
