Evening turtles
Quiet day here working from home. Was meant to have a carpenter round fitting new internal doors but he cancelled due to the weather forecast and needing to work outside. Of course it's been sunny and nice all day hasn't it! He's coming tomorrow now instead so hopefully the weather holds.
Couple of small spends on things I needed for aquarium maintenance. Picked up a parcel with my warm winter boots and a skirt for work. Got my shopping list sorted ready for delivery tomorrow, and that's about it!
Grateful for a bit of a lazy day, tasty food and sleeping a bit better.6 -
Today I am grateful for sleeping well, for finding all the shopping I wanted, for a lovely chat with an elderly chap on the tram, for my book, for our lovely comfy sofa.

Evening Turtles. NSD today, probably as Tuesday is my busiest day work wise! Apparently we are having snow on Thursday which is quite exciting as we never get snow down here. The only downside is that I have to go either up or down a huge hill at the end of our road, eek
Today I am grateful that I didn’t put my winter coat away just yet, making real progress with my food mountain and ending the month with money in the bank and 71p left in the budget.6 -
Hi turtles, hope everyone is okay.

Hugs to those struggling.
Been to the office today, went to the SM at lunch as wanted milk for work, bought some cheese and chocs from aldee. Went to Mr T's on way home and stocked up on their own brand dry cat food, and bought my fave wine which had £1 off. Needed petrol so filled up (in both respects
Think my fave sourdough bread has shrunk! Slices are definitely smaller.
Grateful for being safe and warm

Evening all
NSD 16/16 yay!! Nearly bought DS a travel chess game but not essential for today & will buy it another day to go with his Easter egg.
Realised today that although I should get a pay rise on 1st April, I won’t benefit from it until 30th April pay day but all the bills go up from 1st April so there will be a shortfall I need to plan for.
Worked from home, quiet work wise but I’ll be busy next week doing month/quarter end.
Avoided watching H0lby as I like watching it on a Saturday morning in bed with a brew on catch up so want to savour it this week as it’s the last one! I wonder if there are re-runs showing on any channel so I can watch from the beginning to fill the void!
Grateful for:
A decent time slot for parents evening next week
