It looks like you are very nearly ready to file your Defence.

In an earlier post I said you have until 19th September to file your Defence.

Because 19th September is a Bank Holiday, you now have until 4pm on Tuesday 20th September to file a Defence.

Given that this is a late addition bank holiday (so court date calculations may not take it into account, but you don't want to file on a day [19th] when nobody is likely there) then it may be wise to file the defence on Friday 16th.

    Good Morning All,

I have now reached the stage where the Claimant has filed the N180, I have also filed mine - by email, (ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk) with DCB Legal CC'd This was sent on 4th October 2022. (I received an auto reply from both).

As of this morning MCOL has not been updated to say the Defendant's DQ has been received.

The last input on MCOL is - DQ filed by claimant on 30/09/2022

My question is - should i also post my N180 to cover all areas? I have until 17/10/2022

    Many Thanks as always.

It won't hurt to send it again. For some reason the CCBC seems to lose stuff sent outside normal working hours.

    Ah typo - sorry.

I will get it sent off by email again.

Just to confirm, no need to post this at all?

    Thanks

Correct, e-mail is accepted by CCBC.  I see you say that you have received an auto e-mail reply from both but you won't have if you used that incorrect e-mail address for CCBC.

    Hi @Le_Kirk

It was a typo inputting on this forum. I have received automated reply from both the court and DCB Legal when submitting on the 4th October, during office hours.

I will submit again this morning.

If it gets to the 17th and no further update on MCOL, should I contact the Court?

    Thanks

    Sounds a sensible option.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
