Hint for searching when on newbie thread - on a computer control + F - type "truth" in the box - scroll down highlighted words when you will see "WITNESS ............." heading - shows WS SoT. (same as Defence but WS substituting D)2

I've just received notification that DCB are discontinuing both cases on behalf of their client. Although it's a win I'm feeling pretty annoyed at having spent around 20 hours writing my defence and witness statement. The case wasn't due to be heard until late August.
Is it worth trying to recoup costs for time spent as per these threads:

Or is it unlikely to result in anything?
Thanks2 -
The usual reply is that since they discontinued "in good time" it is unlikely that a claim for unreasonableness would succeed. You could try to ask that the hearings continue as "cost" hearings but the bar is set high for being unreasonable.1

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
Do get your revenge this Summer because £100 plus £70 is extortionate. It's truly horrible being pursued for £100 for no reason, by an ex-clamper aggressive firm, isn't it?

Together, we can stop the rotten parking industry from riding roughshod over the new statutory Code and the charge level caps, and otherwise bullying all motorists forever, using the regulation to gain kudos and status.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
