Nails pretty

Squeak fed herself and her sisters lunch because none of the 5 adults in the house were capable.. I let OH off as he is working!

Off to slurp my cuppa and feed myself.. then I am hanging out laundry and cracking on with some of the bags in the girls room.. see if we can clear a few more.

Drums moved, rest of the floor washed.
Girls bathroom sorted and floor washed.
Long chat with best friend, that's what friends are for!
More washing in, I need to get more washing liquid to do more but not sure if I cba to go to the shop, maybe later.
Landing is the next part to be cleared and cleaned, then our bedroom and bathroom.  There's no reason for any of these to take too long.

these lighter evenings are throwing me.. it is 4:30 but feels like 2pm.. and I need to do dinner but it feels too early.. and I've not bathed Dot.. I've not done anything really.

OH gets paid on Friday so I am exploring office chair options. He has been using a dining chair and has a huge bruise across the back of both legs which is not acceptable so we need to source something huge, comfy, adjustable, durable, excellent value and cheap... it's difficult!

Guys digging up the road outside and shouting non-stop.. OH is not a happy bunny.

My back and ankles hurt and my hands are rather swollen.. WM's both on again.

it is weird.. I just washed 2 mattress protectors at 30'C and they came out looking like they'd been washed at 90 and tumble dried.. so they went in the bin.. no idea what happened there.

YAY.. chappy coming to fix my gutter and evict ratbirds on Wednesday or Thursday next week.. I could wee with glee!!! I cannot wait!

FINALLY got the front of this infernal cardigan finished.. just need to get it sewn together and whizz the button bands on.. feels weird doing those separately I usually knit with the fronts.. we will see how that goes.

WM been on again.. it is now hailing so glad I didn't hang it out yet.

OH in the bath and I am heading to bed with my cuppa and lists I think..

I'll leave scones without flies and garibaldies in the tin.. help yaself xx nighty night.. love you all lots.. you bring joy to my life and I wouldn't swap any of you xx

Morning all

Glad I got some washing dry outside yesterday, pouring down here today. Just logging on for an early meeting, dailies started, wm swishing, window open a touch to air the bedroom etc. Will finish the dailies and my ‘extras’ for today later on.

Morning everyone.  

Thanks for the scones Pigpen, I was awake the first part of the night and then it was extremely difficult when the alarm went off this morning.  

Up and going like a mad woman this morning.  
Shower cleaned
All spare boxes, decorating stuff, tools etc that I collected up yesterday has been taken over to the garage building.  I've done over 2500 steps before 08.30

I think that's everything moved and put away so now just need to clean.  Not quite, just looked out of the window and remembered there's a load of misc c*** on the table and in the kitchen of the other 'party' building.  I'll shove it all in a bag and it can go out side for the photos then I'll bring in a bag at a time and sort.

Sent 2 emails, one to my new dentist with a list of question I want to ask, as I know I will forget next week, the other to a double glazing local company, it seems the storm has loosened one of the windows that opens and it is letting in a major draft, to see if they can do some thing to it.

15 items on Vinted.. and 2 sold so I need to get those posted.

Ordered Dots toothpaste.. ordered OH another mousemat for upstairs.. and order me a pill boox because can't remember the once a day, thrice a day 4 times a dat.. I am lost!!!

Squeak washed and in her english class.

I've fed the grots so I will run a bath and shove a few in.. we will be tidying in the girls room if you need us..

Mademoiselle I hope everything goes well, you’ve worked so hard to get the house looking fabulous, I’m sure it will look wonderful in the photos xx

I have been having some small flying frenzies, helped by the fact that the children are at grandmas so I have space and peace! 

Laundry on the line and over the airer, small bag of outgrown clothes bagged up for friend’s daughter, WUDUPA x 11,924 times, bedding stripped, three things listed on eBay etc.

Anxiety so so high, my heart breaks for Ukraine and Europe today, I am going to keep my little corner of the world as quiet and happy as possible. Love to you all xx

Thanks for thinking of me, photos went well, but now I'm exhausted, both mentally and physically.  

The whole house is tidy, as long as you don't open too many cupboards.  And clean, as long as you don't look too closely.  I can't remember it ever being like this, not everywhere being tidy at once.  Next step is to keep it like this and go through getting rid of more stuff and getting it properly clean.  I will be following the lists! 

ASB, I so understand you, I've just shut my big gates and am enjoying feeling safe in my little world.
