Morning all.
Will be just the dailies today, currently I'm cuddling a poorly baby.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.12 -
Aww Jazee, I hope the poorly baby recovers quickly.
Morning all,
Another week ticked off with very little to show for it or for all the hassle it has caused. I seem to have done no flying apart from a mountain of ironing - clean clothes etc rehomed from the airing cupboad so that this morning’s HHI could be put in there 😇. House plants in the process of being watered - I got distracted by the thread part way through! And the terrible headlines on the news.
I need to do some catch up flying this morning, then will pick up DD from big town station, as she has a mri appointment tomorrow in the big city. Yes, I know it is Sunday, I have checked!
First job (after finishing plant watering) - put away the remainders from the Mr M delivery on Thursday, still taunting me from the DR.
I have read the thread - not a lot sticking, but hugs especially to Iona, Dizzy, ASB.
In fact, hugs to all xx

Off to my sister's shortly, she's having an 'open house' for her 60th.
Happy to welcome a new member to the 'hanging on in there' club, Round.
All ironing done, and laundry basket almost empty.

Afternoon all.
Yesterday evening DH did his usual trick of running a high temperature and going doolally, so at 11.00 pm he was carted off by ambulance to the horse piddle again. This morning when I rang to enquire how he was, I was told that he has a chest infection on top of the Covid, so he is back on IV antibiotics. Rang again just now and he is able to walk from his bed to the loo, which is a huge improvement on yesterday. I am still testing negative.
I stayed up late last night, stripping his bed, sorting washing, filling the DW and generally tidying round, and still woke up at my normal time this morning, so I have done a morning's work on the church accounts until my head began to ache, and then slept solidly for 2 hours after lunch. In between I have done about 6 loads of washing, TD'd most of it, and draped the rest on the bathroom radiators. DS1 managed to repair the TD for the princely sum of £6 for a new capacitor, though the temperature switch will need replacing as well - fortunately it is stuck on low rather than high heat, so even the waterproof sheets have been ok.
Rosie has been so good, keeping an eye on me. I'm going to take her out for her walk now in the last of the sunshine and a biting wind.
Tomorrow is already a full day of church and meetings, so I will have to do more on the accounts this evening. Just hoping that it will all balance!
(((Hugs))) all round (from a distance!), especially for the poorly baby, Jazee xx13 -

Oh poorly baby! GWS wishes to families of Jazee and Iona.
The news is too awful to look at but somehow I can't look away. Completed all my list except dust the hall. Also planted some herbs in the (tiny) garden as it was sunny this morning. Very much a fair weather gardener. Quite a few snacks decluttered into my mouth. Must rein it in. A few bad buying habits have crept back in. Will not buy snacks in March and then I can't eat them.

Love and healing vibes for the poorlies xx
Been to see MIL.. and now we are back. Went to 1k£a on the way... for a step.. and a chest of drawers.. so the steps need dropping with DD1 and the drawers need building for Meem and OH has his PC chair to build too.
I got some seeds for Squeak to plant too.. we have a tiny greenhouse so they will be ok in there.
Squeak has rehearsals for 6 hours tomorrow.. that will be fun..
I have to bath Dot..
I definitely get the raw deal there!
I need to order the new summerhouse for Dot.. we got the grant for it so it would a shame to not get it.. but that gives us 4-8 weeks to get the playhouse dismantled and the ground and base sorted. With 4-8 sundays and only mornings.. this should be fun..

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
Baby is now back home so I'll get on with a few jobs this morning. I've already cut DHs hair.
My plan is to get ready for the other baby visiting later, walk dogs twice, dailies, clean bathrooms, hoover through and maybe tackle the hallway cupboard of doom.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9
