I have now managed to save the money for the summerhouse for Dot a 'sensory room' So I need to get that ordered and arrange a suitable base to go down for it.. unfortunately this means I have to dig up and move a clematis.. I will try to get it in a large pot and introduce it to a trellis.. but I think it may well die sadly. I also have a potato vine, a star jasmine, a fushia and a honeysuckle to move which stand a better chance of survival..I am NOT a simple gardener I am a hacker and a chopper.. I just wing it usually.

Anyway, I need to sort those and get a quote for a concrete base.. without disturbing the graves of several cats and bunnies and a fish.. fun times..

I really need the DW on too.. I might have Squeak do that actually.. or Pixie... is 8 too little? There are no sharp knives or anything.

Messaged an electrician to come sort my bathroom light.. we haven't had a working light in there for about 6 months.. OH's first payday for the new job on Friday so it is first on the list.. once we have a light we can get the loo and the shower sorted.

Meem flinging from her room now.. we emptied a chest of drawers in her room which had DS1's stuff so she can put hers in.. she needs more storae but it is a start.

I'm so sorry about your chickens, Dizzy, and I'm in agreement with those that have said the insurance company may be interested in contacting the tractor driver.  (((Hugs)))  Or just set Kazwookie on whoever it was.  If I were him I think I'd rather it were the insurers!

On holibobs up The Smoke for three days.  Layla was walked, breakfasted and medicated before being dropped off at the dogsitter's - not a happy dog but needs must.  Laundry folded and put away before we left, and Belovéd did all the washing up and put the tangerines and avocados in the fridge, too.

Moved a few bits of furniture about, flung a few bits and wiped down some shelves, it was about time too! 
WM on again, TD too.  
Long chat with DD2 over Ukraine crisis, her first job was managing a team of a dozen Ukrainian electricians and they finished at the end on the year.  They were also very protective of her when a middle aged manager on site was too friendly!
Really hoping the agent and photographer don't come tomorrow so I can carry on .  
OH is away for work so I just have myself to sort out for dinner so it will be something easy, maybe just chees and biscuits and a glass of wine.

PHEW... Mad few hours in the girls room.. they sorted the box of pencils so they fit nicely in the box now. We have another binbag of rubbish and half a dozen things for CS. Pixie wiped down the trofast units so they are all lovely and clean. We emptied 5 bags and a large box of stuff. We do however have the whole bottom bunk fulll of stuffed critters!!!

While I was upstairs.. Meem has sorted HER room.. so I now have 3 loads of washing from her, plus the one from upstairs.. we filled a whole wheelie bin.. they were emptied this morning.. I think we may need to pull them out and go to the tip!

DW and dinner.. the girls want pizza.. easy food for them but the everyone else will want something different..

I need to do a freezer filling order.. and I have 2 bags of food for foodbank.

I may be a bit exhausted.. and the ain is so painful it is beating the new medication.. I think they are masking a migraine though because my face is numb on the right side and my vision was squiffy that side this morning.. oh well, I feel nothing!

Beastlets fed and watered .. WM's and DW running.. eyeballs screaming for my bed and my ankles hurt..

I have a chappy coming tomorrow to look at the guttering .. (hmm.. I think he said in the morning and I have a nail appointment at 11:30.. I can't remember.. oh well.. ) and another coming Monday (I think.. I'm not sure..) to check out the lights in the back room and bathroom..

If I only had a brain... lol...

So.. tomorrow.. litter trays need dealing with.. the front room needs a whizz over.. I think the gutter guy is coming.. nails at 11:30.. and we need to do a bit more in the girls room.. and I have 3 binbags to fling at CS.

I need to arrange Twinkle a dr's appointment for her thumb and her eczema which is covering her eye so I can't use the usual cream on it..

I WILL finish the sleeve on this Lionel cardigan today, it is driving me mad, I do not like the pattern and have 3 more to do!!!

So sorry to hear your troubles Dizzy, the poor chickens! Glad everything else made it and 😡 for the tractor driver, how stupid! 

Busy day at school but cooked a special dinner for 8yo and Ex tonight. He's now booted out (the joy!)  8yo asleep and kitchen put to rights. Just making lunches for tomorrow. Supposed to be working on hand warmers for 8yo and I (that's the level of knitting I can manage - basically a square) but my eyes are too tired. Think will eat some chocolate and go to bed with my kindle.

DS2 has been removed from the college list as the home haven’t taken him since November. I have to break the news to him tomorrow night.

I am in bed. With gin. And my tablet.

The kitchen is done - cleaned, sorted, dried, sanitised and all damaged goods/food/appliances photographed and catalogued for the insurance company. We will need new cabinets as the wood has all swollen and twisted and the doors and drawers don't shut properly now.  My spice drawer was the saddest thing to sort today - so many yummy herbs and spices all contaminated with river water.  Luckily I have a spice rack on top of my dehydrator, so all is not lost. Lounge planned for tomorrow.   This is serious flying ladies and I'm banking this for later in the year when I feel like being a lazy mare.

DH's soon-to-be-new-boss sent round two massive lads this morning to remove heavy sofas into the skip for us - fling! That's easy for me to say, but they were sodden with water and r-e-a-l-l-y heavy, so these lads worked hard.

Small and Tiny are booked in at friends' houses for playdates and sleepovers all this week (which is half-term) so we are child-free to deal with the mess and the boys are having a whale of a holiday.  Win-win.

Re: tractor...I've not seen anything on social media yet, so I can't  track them down.
We are surrounded by lots of different farms here, one of which has five or six tractor and large plant drivers and as it was dark, I couldn't see the offender or the colour of the tractor - meaning I can't be sure who it was, but mark my words, if I ever do identify the culprit, I'll be letting Kaz know!

Hugs to you Dizzy. I'm sorry to hear about the chooks 😥 The "insta" generation have a lot to answer for! 🤬 It should be called antisocial media sometimes!!

Paid stuff today. 1 load of washing done, DW put on. Not much else done. I tried to do some admin earlier, but my laptop was painfully slow! 

I have 4 under 5's tomorrow, so I doubt much flying will get done! Except picking up toys no doubt....
