I hope that you are soon feeling better.
That's a good result as there was always a possibility of a reschedule. Well done for sticking with it. Shame about the costs but it will have cost Excel to bring this case to court.
Please stick around for the public consultation as this will clip the wings of companies like Excel and their ilk.

Again thanks so much to everyone thats helped me out. A good result in all, I probably didn't word the loss of earnings costing right, as I just asked the judge to allowed my fixed costs and loss of earnings.
Their barrister seemed quite polite and pretty friendly towards me, held the door while I hobbled through it and seemed like he pretty much knew, he's not winning the case so didn't fight it, just said I failed to pay for a ticket, but it seemed all an act and he seemed to know the judge pretty well also.
But all in all, a good experience and I'll definitely be hanging around for the public consultation, @ me or DM me if you need me for anything and i'll gladly help!
