What's the email address to serve the questionnaire to the court?
    Thanks in advance
If you received the DQ (N180) from the CCBC then you send it back there (in line with the advice in the NEWBIE sticky) where I pointed you at on 17th May.  If the DQ came from another source (e.g. a court), use the same e-mail to send it back there

Go back and re-read that check list you were following when you filed your Defence.

The guidance you are now looking for is spelt out clearly there.
Here's item 9 on that list...
Rarely do we see an entirely new question here.

You really must re-read that list. Item 10 on that list is equally important.

That's a win! Well done, and thanks for letting us know.

Just make sure you get a notice of discontinuance from the court as well because it is not over until the court says so.
Until that happens, you should proceed as if it is still going ahead.

CONGRATULATIONS! Another one bites the dust! You won!

    Don't disappear just yet.

We need you; motorists need you to help us make a difference forever.  What a waste of your time this was, and why should there be such a litigation culture in parking?   It's truly horrible being pursued for £100 for no reason, by an ex-clamper aggressive firm, isn't it?

Join us in trying to end the conniving PPC and DRA 'added fees' fuelling the court culture.

There will be one window of opportunity later this year.  My best guess is in October.

Together, we can stop the rotten parking industry from riding roughshod over the new statutory Code and the charge level caps, and otherwise bullying all motorists forever, using the regulation to gain kudos and status.

If you are not likely to pop back here every week to check, please set up email alerts for this forum and bookmark this thread (below) as we intend that one of us posts on it when the Government opens the Consultation:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333989/mse-parking-ticket-appeals-guide-feedback#latest

    Read the latest posts there.

The PPC money-grabbers have blocked the new Code by filing for Judicial Reviews.  Stopped the declared and much welcomed parking code from February 2022, which stated that added £70 false 'DRA fee' extortion was to be banned and that parking levels would start at £50.

It's on hold. Motorists urgently need it reinstated and the ban on false 'DRA fees' confirmed, to stop the rot.

This year will be your chance to make a difference, plus any other drivers you know (family, friends) who are also fed up to the back teeth with the greedy and unscrupulous parking industry and the stranglehold they have on people.

We need high numbers of real victims to make a point of responding to this final Consultation.

This UKPC/DCB Legal pattern is now emerging, the same pattern that Highview/CP Plus/GroupNexus/DCB Legal has evidenced itself over the past few weeks.
    • Court claim issued
    • Defence completed
    • Hearing date given
    • Witness Statement deadline dictated by the court
    • Phone call from DCB Legal to defendant
    • Email to defendant from DCB Legal with 'Without Prejudice Offer to Settle'
    • If no response from/refusal by defendant, email from DCB Legal - 'Notification of Discontinuation'
    • Confirmation of discontinuation from the court follows
Common denominator - DCB Legal!  The finest example of everything that's wrong with the roboclaim culture that now seethes in the private parking cesspool.
This is worth gathering multiple examples of on one thread with links, if anyone has time.

We could then use the thread in our replies to the Public Consultation, to show that adding £70 per PCN is nothing to do with ensuring that parking charges are 'enforceable' and all about funding a robo-claim model where DCBLegal have demonstrated no intention of proceeding to a court hearing to 'enforce' the parking charge.

It's all about funding a gaslighting model, calculated to 'pick off' scared victims along the road, abusing the court process and routinely giving up when Defendants don't blink.  HM Court Service and Defendants alike are just dropped at the last minute and left to suck up wasted time and costs and the whole farce starts again, and again.

Those (majority) who are so scared that they pay £170 either at LBC demand stage or later, directly fund this unnecessary model. It has to stop. Parking firms could easily file small claims on MCOL themselves, using template wording as ParkingEye do, never adding any false sum.
