I do not think the Rewards account has a dedicated card even for regular branches so why would this affect the Child/Drummonds cards? In any case, I have been had standard select, Rewards and Premier Rewards now and always the same card (account managed in branch, so I had a personal banker and Drummonds card even as a Select Customer)

It's a reasonable question. Other banks give different debit cards based on products held, but Natwest Group instead do it based on your status - which in practice means premier customers get one card, and everyone else gets another - except in the case of Holts, Childs (15-80-00) and now Drummonds (16-00-38) when regardless or your status you will get a branch-branded debit card.
Thank you & thanks to the earlier poster Gary I believe.
  • Quick question for those with Rewards! Do you get post or paperless statements - are they Drummonds/Child’s branded either way?

Also - I know some “reward” style accounts have paperless as a criteria, is that the case for RBS Rewards or do you still get them if you take the branded postal statements? Couldn’t see either way on the site..

    Thanks!

I have Premier Rewards now but on online statements only .

However, as I do receive statement for my kids (First Saver account) and did receive paper statements for the first few months I had the accounts years ago, I am pretty certain that the situation will be this:

Child & Co: proper bespoke stationery with the account type printer just under the account holder name (top left hand side corner)

Drummonds: standard RBS stationery, same printing template as above though, so account type printed on TLHS and on the right hand side, between the branch address and international banking reference (BIC/IBAN) low resolution printing of the Drummonds original logo

Paper statements are branded (only Child’s has full bespoke branding), online statements always just RBS branded.

No need to be paperless for Rewards as yet.

Next working day usually. Doesn't take long at all.

Because someone will pay close enough attention to you to notice what card you have and then know enough about obscure British banks to recognise a Child’s card, right. They totally wouldn’t just look at phone and watch.
They don't need to know what the bank is, the card looks like it represents money, that is all that matters. Of course they would look at your phone and your watch as well, but we have entered a period where criminals deploy advanced techniques to target victims. They know someones phone code before the phone is stolen because the victim is observed. If you wave a private card around it will only attract attention to yourself and make you more likely to become a victim. If anyone thinks this doesn't happen they are naive.
How would they know a Child’s card represents money? It’s not a well known thing, it’s not a recognisable card like a Coutts card or an Amex Platinum or a Barclays Premier
Because of the way the card is designed. The first time I saw a Child card I thought it looked wealthy. Most people if they saw the card, would assume the holder was wealthy. Especially the Drummonds card, which states "private banking".

My first Child card was a very gaudy gold colour. I am pleased with the rebranded card.

Give that another day or so, you'll receive an email when it's done.
  • I think the “old” form has actually had a refresh. It wasn’t working last night but appears to be live again now.
