Although I never handled a Drummonds card in the flesh. I showed the cards to a friend who was not impressed and said they "looked like normal cards"!
It failed to impress my girlfriend when it was whipped out to pay for our meals in Wetherspoon the other day however. "Drummonds? What's that? One of those daft app banks like your Monzo?"0 -

I've got an RBS Reward account with sort code 160038 and I've just been sent a new debit card, and weirdly, it doesn't say RBS, it says Drummonds Private Banking. Very weird. I'd never qualify for private banking.0

I find it quite annoying. My first card was just normal RBS. If people see me use this card, they'll think I'm rich. Which I'm not.0

Which I'm not. They probably won't see it, and even if they did I doubt they'd think that. Other than the word 'private' it doesn't look posh. Use a bit of tape to hide the brand if you like.
Open an account at any other branch of RBS if it still bothers you (using the form on Page 9). The last remaining English branch is Berwick upon Tweed but put in any Scottish town or place name if you prefer.1 -

I have been studying this thread for a while!
A quick question - I’ve been told this elsewhere but to corroborate…
I know you have to open the Drummonds “account” via the select account form - but once open can I upgrade it to a Reward without losing any of my Drummonds stationery
Does this also apply as and when the card were to expire in 5 years?1 -
