"The parking company have told me to prove I was elsewhere!  I can 100% tell you their ANPR isn't approved by State Secretary because they don't even have planning permission from the local council or even mention it on their contract with the landowners!  Cases like mine are pretty common."

Is this VCS or Excel by any chance? It's sounds like it could be or a similar ex.clamper. Their MO is to discredit and attack the defendant.

No, it was One Parking Solution. But I imagine the MOs of most of these firms is pretty similar.

Aren't THEY supposed to prove where you were?
  • That's what I've put to them in my WS. Why should the onus be on the motorist. I've no doubt the ANPR log would "exonerate" me - but they refuse to disclose on the grounds of it "having other people's details" on it. But it's okay for me to send them evidence of my vehicle being elsewhere which would likely have people's vehicle/ personal data 🤔  seems like a clear cut case of the House cherry picking the rules so that their games are loaded in their favour.  They could easily redact the other VRMs out - but choose not to. They know how to redact because they've sent me a heavily redacted copy of the Landowner Contract!  Anyhow this new Law/ CoP will put a stop to such behaviour or at least make those responsible accountable and sanctionable for their actions. Claims like this will no longer meet the basic threshold for a PCN. I'll imagine they'll continue their tricks until formallty challenged or penalised. As many included people will still get frightened into paying them.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

These 'conferences' are just an exercise in self-congratulation and delusion.

As for 'Lunch and Learn', they've learned nothing so far, so why would they start now?
[cynical] So, just like any awards ceremony then? [/cynical]

You can sense the panic setting in. The only useful point is at 1500 hrs on day one.
"TRAINING"   .. YES ... train their members to obey and comply with the new code.

"Lunch and learn" at 12.30 .... it's virtual so an M&S take out and a packet of crisps.  As Bargepole suggested, if they have not learned yet, they probably never will.

Could be a huge waste of money ....... it will

I guess that Mr Neil O'Brien MP ..."is not for turning"

    It is indeed very amusing

Was so popular the lunch and learn appears to have been cancelled
