It doesn't look remotely tempting to me. There are other better paying accounts around and I'm not an IoM resident.

    Anyone used Conister Bank?
No, but I remember reading an article on them early 2023 on thisismoney: https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/saving/article-12011477/Conister-Bank-offers-5-3-fixed-rate-savings-account-catch.html

At the time they didn't have FSCS protection, only Isle of Man's Depositors' Compensation Scheme protection.

However looks like they got FSCS accredited at the end of last year: https://www.conisterbank.co.uk/news-insight/2024/conister-the-new-to-market-bank-that-isn-t-new-at-all-with-decades-of-experience-behind-it/

As mentioned above, you need to go to the .co.uk site to get accounts that are available to UK residents.

While the rates for other durations are poor, their 5% one year fixed rate is the best currently available.

My RCI  2 year fixed is maturing in 14 days. Rather annoyingly , at that point , they aren't offering a direct transfer out to my nominated account
but various not that competitive fixed options or their easy access account if I do nothing. From there I would then have to move it out  which would further delay moving on to a better offer elsewhere.
Then I will be looking for the best options for monthly income from the interest.

You'd like to think that the transfer into easy access would be on the day of maturity, in which case I would imagine that you'd be able to withdraw the funds on the same day or the next day at the latest ?

Savings Champion have a handy list of the best 1-5 year fixed rate monthly income accounts here : https://savingschampion.co.uk/best-buys/personal/monthly-income-accounts

    I will be moving from a 2 year 4.75% -
Their easy access is not the best and I think I can do better elsewhere if I want fixed or notice

    FIXED TERM - 1 YEAR
    Interest rate:4.22% Gross* 4.30% AER**

    FIXED TERM 2 YEAR
    Interest rate:4.31% Gross* 4.40% AER**

    FIXED TERM - 30 MONTH
    Interest rate:4.41% Gross* 4.50% AER**

    FIXED TERM 3 YEAR
