Yes, it's become unavailable again. It isn't too surprising that it didn't hang around long, as it was 0.5% above the next-best available rate.

Hope this is the right thread......around the time of the Autumn Statement there were muffled rumours of NS & I bringing out some juicy new deals. 
Or a single juicy new deal!

The funding target had already been met so no new targets for funding. (was hidden in the autumn Statement) so rates on NSI will likely to go down in time

Thanks. I have 2 x 6.2% bonds with them, I knew that figure was very unlikely to be topped or even approached but just wondered if there had been any further news.

Yes, it's become unavailable again. It isn't too surprising that it didn't hang around long, as it was 0.5% above the next-best available rate.

and looking again tonight @ 11pm and it's back - tried 2 separate browsers to check it's not a caching issue and it's definitely available currently... not listed on moneyfacts, so maybe it will return there tomorrow, but I can't see this being available for too much longer either way.
