Charter are also offering good maturity options that are not on general sale.
2year fixed rate bond 5.97% and also 18 month and 1 year options at slightly less.

Many thanks for this. I have one maturing on Friday and didn’t realise they were offering 2 year and a better rate. Just amended my instructions and bagged a 2 year for some of the funds.

I've found Charter very good for offering loyalty rates, which I last took up in August when FS rates were a bit higher than now. Monument and Kent Reliance are good on loyalty rates too.

    Good evening,

Looking at fixing £65K for 2 or 3 years with either Vanquis Bank or RCI Bank UK...or perhaps Ford Money for 2 years

Appreciate Vanquis rate is slightly higher but never used any of these so would appreciate any pros or cons for all

    Cheers!

Does anyone know if upon maturity of a Dudley 1 year Bond, if the funds are moved the following day if requesting for the funds to be transferred to your nominated account and the account closed? All the email says is upon maturity which is today.
I have one maturing next month and tbh I don't know, I suspect it will be a 24 hour thing knowing the Dudley.
If its an issue I would give them a call if possible
The funds finally arrived in my account yesterday at 5.05pm. I phoned Dudley twice as was worried why it was taking so long and they doublechecked all the account info and guaranteed it would be in by 5pm. So they closed it the day after maturity (17th) on the 18th and funds arrived at 5pm on the 19th.
Apologies for missing this. I received a letter Friday, to shift the matured funds to a separate account/bank they want me to fill a form in and post it. Hopefully there is a better and quicker way!

    Also 18 Mths  5.96%
    12 mths 5.95%
So virtually nothing between 1 year,18mth and 2 year
Ive gone for the 2 year

It's like any provider, you don't know what they are like until there is a problem. Saying that I've got a fixed bond maturing soon with vanquis, no issues at all. Maturing options clearing given in plenty of time etc.

Some of the reviews are really negative, but, they appear to be mainly borrowers rather than savers.
I was just looking at their 2yr 5.9% myself this morning.
