    My RCI bond matures at the end of this month and I am thinking of renewing it into the 3-year maturity bond at 6.10% they're offering, as the rate on the website is 5.85. I take it the former is a loyalty account.
    Sounds like it will be a loyalty rate - many fix companies offer preferential rates or slightly better terms to maturing accounts.  I think I'd personally bite their hands off for that - 3 year fixes are disappearing from many companies and that's a good rate for 3 years.

    Do you mind sharing what preferential rate they are offering on a 5-year fix, if at all this option has been offered to you? Thanks

    today I am exactly one year into a Halifax 2 year fixed bond , paying annual interest

    so shouldn’t one years interest have been added to my balance today?

    Me too, and have 21days to fund.
    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    I have one maturing next month and tbh I don't know, I suspect it will be a 24 hour thing knowing the Dudley.
    If its an issue I would give them a call if possible
