Sounds like it will be a loyalty rate - many fix companies offer preferential rates or slightly better terms to maturing accounts. I think I'd personally bite their hands off for that - 3 year fixes are disappearing from many companies and that's a good rate for 3 years.DJDools said:My RCI bond matures at the end of this month and I am thinking of renewing it into the 3-year maturity bond at 6.10% they're offering, as the rate on the website is 5.85. I take it the former is a loyalty account.1 -
Do you mind sharing what preferential rate they are offering on a 5-year fix, if at all this option has been offered to you? ThanksDJDools said:My RCI bond matures at the end of this month and I am thinking of renewing it into the 3-year maturity bond at 6.10% they're offering, as the rate on the website is 5.85. Quick question
today I am exactly one year into a Halifax 2 year fixed bond , paying annual interest
so shouldn’t one years interest have been added to my balance today?
