  • My heaters are heat store dynamic intelirad aluminium radiator model number hsdI12000.

I can't keep an hourly log at the moment of meter readings.

Switching it all off meant running switches off and the fuse box for that individual circuit.

I'm trying to upload my fuse box but it's not letting me do it for some reason.

    Posted my meters
Thank you for that. My meter is a similar Aclara.
I'm going to assume that your fuse box has a circuit for your lights, a circuit for your sockets, and then a circuit for each of your 2kW heaters.
You confirmed before that with everything off your smart meter read zero.
    • Would you be able to switch off every circuit except your lights, then check that the IHD is only reading a few watts?
    • Then turn on one of the circuits for your electric heaters, and turn that heater on? What does your IHD say then, does it match the 2kW rated power of the heater?
Then try the same with each of the other heaters, and let us know the results.
I'm going to do this tonight, initially turning off my fuse box and flicking each switch on each day as my electricity is being used at times when I don't have anything in eg 5am and 6am in the morning

A quick look at their video.

They have a thermostat and on; timers set by an App -   what are your settings please ?

I either have them on eco mode at 17l8 degrees.

Or out all-day so on from 5.30pm to 10pm at 20 degrees. That's on all three radiators

    Potentially 3 x 4.5 hrs x 2KW =  27 KWh  (£4) - in reality less if the target temp of 20 deg is met

So the challenge is  -  what's causing those spikes ?

  • I done the IDH rest too.

I had amber warnings on IHD and i switched off the electricity.  I turned everything on one at a time.  The heaters are using 2KW boiler is 3KW and the rest are minimal (around 20-30 watts)

Is your 3KW boiler (ie the immersion heater) on a timer or do you switch it on as required.
