armco said:it does say this in the really small print: ~ Prices may increase or decrease at any time. We will give you 30 days advance notice before we increase your prices.today I have contact BG for other reasons (my online account is broken with PFP/neon reef issues) and asked if this is still valid - the response is (not unexpected tbh)"we are in the process of reviewing our position and will contact you by letter or email before mid-march to let you know what this means for you."

Especially when chat agents have confirmed that it will remain the same rate until end July and there are transcripts in existence....0

Thanks for pointing this out, still have our welcome email as well after being switched from Neon Reef and it clearly says Price guaranteed until 31st July 2022.
It does say prices may increase or decrease in the small print but how they can expect to justify offering something as a guarantee if the small print says price can go up or down is beyond me.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

I really can't get my head around how British Gas could have made the mistake of saying a price was 'guaranteed until 31 March 2023' to begin with. Given the price uncertainty at the the time it felt pretty obviously an error to armchair observers here (let alone those here with real industry experience/contacts)!0
