Thank you @Chrystal I am really proud of her. She's been gifted a load of clothes to sell on too, so let's see how it goes.

Hope things are going well for you. Did you hear about the mortgage yet? XX
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.

Dear diary,
Hi, it's me again.
Quick update. We got our mortgage, plus the extra to do some work around the house.
So I now have a new kitchen, dining space on the way, bathroom finished and a workshop for my husbands business.
It all took longer and cost more than I had hoped, but I've watched enough house improvement programmes to know we weren't too far out.
News flash.... I left my job. The bosses were not great, my health deteriorated. I found another job, they assured me it was secure. It was not.
So, now I'm back, selling furniture, trying to make ends meet. Husband can about cover the bills, but he's finding it hard to earn enough amongst sorting the house.
Credit card debt has crept back up, it hit £3844. I've started chipping away at it, now it's at £3499. A little off every day seems to be the only way I can manage it.
In other news, I promised (maybe foolishly) son 3 a skiing holiday. His older brother is taking him. I've been putting cashback from chase and topcash into an account, along with the interest we git from the extra mortgage. So far I've got £655. Which goes a long way to paying his share. Naturally it will be a mse style ski trip.
Going forward, it's back to budgeting, trying to find work that suits my new psoratic arthritis diagnosis and working our way back put of this silly debt.
Again

Today's cc total
£3399
I sold a set of chairs, so the profit went off the cc. Also got my last payment from.my job, so just paid £80. Remembering to check in and pay a little daily.
Ski trip fund at £660.
Had a quieter weekend, friends house Friday, walks Saturday and Sunday, oldest son over for dinner Sunday.
Lunch out with husband today, listed some items for sale on fb. Left over freezer tea.
Son 2 visiting tomorrow. Hopefully a couple of items being collected from fb Market sales.
MIL is downsizing, her and her late husband liked to collect things, so now I'm selling it on. I reckon there's a good few thousand, and along with the stuff.my own husband likes to collect, I'm sure I can clear this debt quickly.
Onwards and very much upwards.

Hello!
Today's cc total £3299
Ski fund £664
Sold some roofing felt £30. Listed other items, no great interest, so may try ebay.
Son 2 came for tea, booked his accommodation for the week (new job, currently waiting for a flat). Went via topcashback for air bnb vouchers, and chase card. So about £22 will be heading to the ski fund.
Also reserved ski chalet for sons 1 and 3. They found a place that was a steal £311 for 3 of them for the week. So, I'm really hopeful that we can pay for the majority of the holiday with the cashback/interest I've been saving. I'm only paying for son 3, son 1 is an adult.
Placed a food shop, after reakkybtrying to use all the food from the last one. Food is one big money vacuum when I don't do a weekly (ish) shop. We can soon spend £20/25 a day if we pop to the corner every day, where as a bitnof skillful shopping means more like £15 a day. That's all.meals, snacks, pets, toiletries, cleaning stuff for 4 of us.
Husband has had a good week at work (he's self employed), so feeling a little less put of control than I did a couple of weeks ago.
Just writing things down, to no one, really helps.
Right, bath time. Helps me not drink as much in the evening, warms me up and chills me out. Win win.£2699 credit card (£3848 01.02.23)

Hello!
An emotional rollercoaster this week, from feeling on control, to put of control and everything inbetween.
Quick update today.
Cc £3296. Interest went on, but I paid that plus a little more today, still chipping away.
Ski fund £695. More cashback, more topcashback, and I decided to try some free spins. Won £5.35 on a no deposit one. And deposited £10 in another, waiting for my £13 win to arrive, which will help.
Out with a friend this evening, off to see son 2 tomorrow.
Hope you all have a good one.£2699 credit card (£3848 01.02.23)

Lovely weekend.
Met my friend, drank too much, ate lovely food, laughed a great deal. Saw son 2 in his new work place. It was lovely to see him happy.
Cc at £3270
Ski fund £699
Ordered flowers for the mothers with a 35% cash back. Weekly shop done with my nationwide card, hoping I will qualify for the 5% cashback they're offering.
Listed more items on fb, nothing selling at the moment. Hopefully soon.

Haven't had a drink since Saturday. 1st time in a very long time, that I can remember going 3 nights in a row. I'm feeling positive about tomorrow too. Son 3s birthday Thursday, might feel differently then, but hopefully will get to Friday. I figure it's about £4 a night I'm saving. I don't drink every night, and not a full bottle a night, so I guess so far I've saved £10- £12 this week, which is motivating.
Listed more fb items, just want things to sell now as I'd really like to do something with my daughter when son 3 is skiing. Come on, universe, she's had it tough and could do with a little break....
