Just a quick update. Sold my sideboard today, so that's £275 profit from the table and chairs and sideboard.

Tea was pesto pasta with veg and a garlic bread. Tomorrow we are bbqing some random bits from the freezer, couscous and veg. I've been walking down to the shop for a little exercise and to pick up yellow sticker foods. I've all sorts of bits and pieces in the freezer, so still avoiding a 'big shop'.

OK, off to hang a disco ball and some lights for a friends wedding.

    Holiday fund £283
    Cc debt £2549

Waiting for my friend to pay for the sideboard so I can pay a bigger chunk off the cc. I'm still.aiming to get it below 2k by the end of May. I may have to use the holiday fund to do this, but hoping not to.

Setting up discoball and lights last night for a friends wedding was fun. I was a bit sad that he didn't even buy us a thank you drink (we did it for free and it was in the pub), or ask us to pop along this evening. It did make me remember how much I love transforming rooms though. I'd happily be hired locally to do it again.

Tea was random 'eat up' freezer bbq meats, homemade chips from.some tatoes on the turn and salad. Lunch was tomatoes on toast. Done on the barbie, obviously.

Picked up some more yellow sticker bargains today, I'm a fan of fruit and veg and bakery products. The odd ready meal for emergencies. Tomorrow it's left overs in pitta with salad. There are several portions of various unmarked meat dishes frozen in takeaway boxes, so who knows what we will get.

Been suffering with swollen/sore joints today, psoriatic arthritis doing its thing, so a bath is calling.

Hello! It's been moment since I last checked in.

I've finally booked a summer holiday, 2 weeks in France. Euros 1400, paid the £330 deposit and the rest is due in July. I won't have it all, but we should be close.

Cc, hanging off to make bigger payment as our utility bills are insane.  I'm hoping they will come down a little, I fell behind a while ago, and I seem to be paying dearly for it.  Hopefully a few hard months will right it and we will be back to a better amount.

Daughters birthday yesterday, has all the kids round for tea. She's got concert tickets for her birthday, so token gestures for presents. Also borrowed a suit for son 3s prom from son 1, so that helped.

Left overs from yesterday for tea, the freezer and store cupboards are starting to run low. Think I'll put a tesco order in as using the points towards our ferry crossings in.the summer.  I prefer to cross to dieppe, but it was expensive and there are no discounts that I could find. So immoral p and o it is.

Continued with the hypno band stuff. Now another kilo down, hoping next week will see me hit exactly 100k. I was 103/4 , hugely over weight, so I'm glad to be doing something about it, even if it's slow.  Wandering to the shops most days helps too, it isn't far, but its movement. Its really tough when you have a number of auto immune issues and you feel ill about 70% of the time.

I feel hitting that 1st milestone will be a massive barrier over come, so I'm routing for myself.

I really need to sell some more furniture this week, there are just a couple of pieces to sell on. Husband has found some more bits and pieces he's happy to part with, and he has some in auction.

Finally put the summer duvet on the bed, how glorious is this sunshine?

Here's to many more sunny days.
