Most pizza companies use petrol scooters or cars.greyteam1959 said:
Never having had any fast food delivered ever.Emmia said:
A pizza at a restaurant sit in, I'd agree on experience... I'm not sure a pizza in a cardboard box that's arrived on a bike that you eat in your house, is an "experience".izawa said:
Pizzas made in food establishments > Supermarket ones. Ofcourse, supermarket ones are far cheaper but you lose out on experience.Emmia said:You could buy a pizza from the supermarket or make your own - both would be cheaper than Papa Johns / Dominos even if you factor in the cost of cooking.
I haven't had a delivered meal for 7 years, the last time was the day I moved into my current home.
I have always wondered how the toppings stay on a pizza when it is delivered on a blokes back on a bike.0 -

Perhaps it's a reflection of Uber Eats, Deliveroo, and suchlike; the companies who were operating in-house deliveries have seen that customers are prepared to pay on-top for delivery.Regarding Papa Johns; I tried them once and the pizzas took ages to arrive (I was about to ring to find out status when the doorbell rang), were lukewarm, and mine was tasteless. No tip for the delivery person there and I won't bother using them again!0
