    Don't tip the driver then.

Unless you weren't in the first place of course.
Ridiculously actually, I gave the last Dominos driver I used £3 in cash on Christmas Eve, only to be told by e-mail that drivers can no longer accept cash afterwards by e-mail and begged to tip online by card.

Make of that what you will.

Now it turns out that ordering the delivery of some goods on pallets is even cheaper than pizza delivery. Wow, what nonsense that upsets me so much.(( For example, I order delivery of vegetables and fruits for my local store, and these guys - pallet delivery uk ship everything across the UK and even internationally. It comes out quite cheap.

As much as I don't like PJ, Dominos, etc charging for delivery but I understand where they are coming from. Their cost of raw materials must have hit so high so they are trying to offer pizza at the same price but at a v v low margin, by having a £2 delivery they make something.

Only if Russia had some sanity, the world would have been in a much better place.

You could buy a pizza from the supermarket or make your own - both would be cheaper than Papa Johns / Dominos even if you factor in the cost of cooking.

I haven't had a delivered meal for 7 years, the last time was the day I moved into my current home.

Well, it won't affect me: I ordered pizzas from them a while back and they took along time to come, were lukewarm, and tasteless; I won't be going back to them again.

Pizzas made in food establishments > Supermarket ones. Ofcourse, supermarket ones are far cheaper but you lose out on experience.

A pizza at a restaurant sit in, I'd agree on experience... I'm not sure a pizza in a cardboard box that's arrived on a bike that you eat in your house, is an "experience".

For whatever reason Domino's pizza still tastes incredibly different from Tesco pizza. Maybe it is sitting hot in a box for 10 minutes that changes it...

Never having had any fast food delivered ever.
I have always wondered how the toppings stay on a pizza when it is delivered on a blokes back on a bike.
