Did you get a notice of this hearing and replied or sent the Court any 'letter' since July?
The only notice of this hearing I received was from 30th June (Notice of Allocation to the small claims track (Hearing)). I have not sent the court anything since I sent them the Witness statement on the 27th July.

OK and was the hearing always due to be February 23rd this year?

OK, if @bargepole and @Johnersh don't stop by I suggest your first step is to email a complaint to the complaints email of DCBLegal (I presume there must be one on their website?).  Might be complaints@

And state what I said about sending them their own Notice of Discontinuance email from July and a copy of this latest Order.

Demand to know what on earth has happened?  Tell them you intend to report this to the SRA next week (before Easter) and are then away between DATE and DATE, so the ball is in their solicitor's court to deal with this professionally.

    DO NOT PHONE THEM.

  • Thanks @Coupon-mad. I have replied back to their own email they sent me in July with the Notice of Discontinuance requesting what you have advised. Shall see what they respond with.

Did they respond to your email?
  • No response yet.
  • Today I have received a further copy of the “General Form of Judgement or Order” (N24). This is exactly the same as what I received last week.

I have still not received any response from DCBLegal to the email I sent last week. Now been 4 full working days they have had a chance to respond.

I am getting rather concerned about this as I go away in just over 2 weeks time. This is appalling behaviour to not even acknowledge my complaint other than with a auto email.

Can I get some further advise on this. I’m considering take this to the courts when I’m back in June. Instead of looking forward to going away in just over 2 weeks I’m now concerned about this illegal Court attendance by DCBLegal which went against me and DCBLegal now not responding to correct their mistake.

I would personally phone your local court and inform them of the situation that you was under the impression the claim had been discontinued and you’ve received judgment against you.
